We lived next door at the beginning of the war. A little to the south, in the Zell im Wiesenthal area. We often came to Freiburg. Very beautiful places.

I bought 0105 a year ago from Clever. There was some increase in price at Bears at the moment for overseas orders, if my memory serves well, do not know about current situation though. I checked my old emails, Rogue and Celluloid also had it at local price a year ago. Size 36 which is my regular size worked well. Blocked? Hmmm... probably a certain supreme power sparing me from some awful danger I'm in for chasing another obviously unnecessary pair of jeans.... I already can't decide if I need the SC 1946 after I get rid of some SC pairs I bought earlier to some relief. I need to finally start learning to settle for what I need, while rejecting what I want 🙂

Lofgrens are very difficult to put on at first. For the first few months I couldn't do it without the plastic bag. But each time it got easier and easier, now it's ok.

I've heard people use vinegar to clean toilets. So if one walks on shit, or if the shoes are shitty, there's definitely a correlation.

As I mentioned above, I used Renapur before Saphir. Renapur is completely absorbing, no residue, no matter how much I apply, it seems impossible to cross the line. That's why I didn't spare Saphir either. Although, as I think, I applied a small amount anyway. Next time I will try to put even less.... 🙃

I am using Renapur Leather Balsam.

Perhaps I was expecting miracles and they didn't happen? On the pairs of shoes I tried, I got white residue on the creases after some usage. Maybe I applied more than I should have.

I've used Saphir a couple of times recently (mainly due to other people's opinions) and was generally not happy with the results. I used to use a German made Renapur for years, for different leathers, and was always happy with it. At some point, I learnt that Goto-san (White Kloud) uses Renapour. That basically closed the topic for me. Renapur rules.

As the year came to an end, I saw that I was selling faster than I was buying. I wondered: what do I want to buy next year? I can't think of anything. And there doesn't seem to be anything more to sell. Am I approaching a magical balance and realisation of happiness? No way, I know I'm not. Some sneaky urge to buy will come most surely.🙄

I loved my Chord DAC. It effortlessly elevated the listening experience to new height when configured with any other components. The only reason I sold it was the switch to the integral Naim system, all in one box.

Not long ago I was selecting type 3 jacket and decided on Fullcount. Very nice jacket. Also was considering Sugar Cane, TCB, orSlow, Boncoura, etc. As per now FC item seem to be enough to satisfy my need for type 3, maybe I will think about getting another from WH when they will release one. -
