  1. Yesterday was care day for my wifes and my belts.

can't believe the one third from the right and on the right end used to be the same colour.

  3. ^definitely pre 2007, so 15 years minimum by now, since they got the old arcs and Tab, but don't have any more Info on them, no tags left as I got them on eBay.

stitching seems to be poly if that might help...

Title: TCB WW2 fade contest/ your contestant number and your nickname

How to judge: Each TCB member decides their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
    1st place-3 points
    2nd place-2 points
    3rd place-1 points
The person who gets the most point wins.

As you all know, the contest had lived a life of its own on multiple platforms, due to language barrier many JP didn't manage to create an account on sufu.
Ryo would like to have all photos also to make a tcb contest gallery on Tcb website.

I guess it doesn't hurt if we want to make a final submission thread here on sufu for the sake of posterity, but as I wrote above the evaluation and official submission will have to be made by email.

  5. ^This!
Imo it takes up room I would rather have as working space in the kitchen. And for 2€ for a good espresso it's hard to justify one of these beasts, for me atleast...

  6. some "wall-art" I would say.

my wife got the frame for me and we finally got around to this over the Weekend.

first pressing of the album, officially a bootleg, made by Bangkok records, which seems to be defunct or even just started for this project and closed down afterwards.

vinyls are stored separately so they stay playable.

  7. re Home Espresso Machines: an old Buddy of mine got one made by ECM years ago for about 2k, made great coffee with it but spent half his afternoons cleaning that thing and playing around on it to dial it in.

at that cost, at least for me, it's easier to go out for espressi and have them made for me.

great thing, for sure, but not worth the hassle, imo...

re grinders: grind size and constant results are key. we got a baratza encore grinder for our wedding and it works like a charm. No more fiddling around with the handgrinder (hario skerton), which is way faster and more time effizient. also not a super expensive one, 120€ to 150€ I think.
