  1. ^  I'd really like to have a pair of 1101XX too EdwardBear -- actually I have a pair but in the wrong size!

Anyone know if Fullcount might do an Anniversary pair in the 1101 cut or are we confident that it's only the 1108 and 0105 at this point?  I was holding off on the XX until I knew for sure.

  2. I have the 1108XX (36) and really like the 15.5 oz. denim -- actually prefer the weight to the banner Fullcount denim.  The latter may be a touch softer but the XX denim is a nice blend of softness and durability.  Can't remember exactly how hairy it was.  The color, however, is quite dark.

b_F., you must be quite trim now if you're wearing a size 34!  I have a feeling a 34 would be way too tight for my fat thighs ;-)

  3. JDelage,

I love the Sugar Cane Type II modified from Self Edge. It's my favorite denim jacket of a total of three I've owned.  Soft and comfortable, quick break in, superb fit with enough room in the chest and armholes. The overall length is fine for me. Yes it's longer than the classic Type II but it feels good and looks fine. Quite a bit of shrinkage if you decide to go for it.

  4. I picked up a couple of Type II denim jackets recently (size 42, raw) and thought I'd share post soak measurements for those interested:

    Studio D'Artisan D4385

    Chest  21.75"

    Shoulder  18.75"

    Sleeve  25.75"

    Length  26.75"

Sugar Cane 1953 Type II (Modified Length)

    Chest  22.75"

    Shoulder  19.75"

    Sleeve  24.25"

Length  (NA but can get later -- a couple inches longer than the Studio)

Both are very nice.  The Sugar Cane is very soft and comfortable and has more room overall, as the measurements would suggest.  The Studio is slightly darker in color and harder finished with longer sleeves -- probably a more classic fitting Type II.  The Studio is 15 oz. while the Sugar Cane is a touch lighter weight, but similar.

  5. $385! + shipping. wasn't expecting it to be priced quite as high. as much as I love Roy going to have to pass - exchange rate means this one would work out almost £340 with the shipping, that's just to stratospheric for me right now. shame as it looks v. nice.

    cool_hand,

I was hoping for a bit lower price too, especially since Roy's jeans are a relative bargain.  But then my wife (bless her) says, "Don't you know that shirts are much harder to make than pants?"  I didn't know this, but she's no doubt right.

  6. I have a pair of brand new (with tags) Fullcount 1101XX in size 34 ('one wash' not raw).  Bought these before realizing I'm a size 33.  For those not familiar with the FC XX denim, it's 15.5 oz., slightly heavier and darker than the Fullcount banner denim.

$175 shipped CONUS.  Prefer USA sale but will consider international if these don't move quickly and buyer is willing to pay extra shipping.

    Measurements available, as needed.

    Thanks,

    John

  7. Quick question and shameless plug:

Just bought a pair of one-wash FC1101 in size 33 that fit well.  Would you soak or wash these before wearing or am I good to go with the wash from the factory?

Let me know if you're looking for a brand new pair of one-wash 1101XX in size 34 -- a touch too large in the waist for me.  Had these prior to the 33 and now realize the sizing error.
