Lol thanks, I can see your point but I'd be embarrassed to wear something with such egregious crotch-fading when I'm trying to look respectable. (I really don't understand why that is, by the way. These aren't tight in the crotch at all.)
Yeah fair enough :-) i might think twice about wearing them to a job interview with that fade. Depending on the job. Although... Don't you risk a higher contrast crotch fade if you wash less?

In retrospect, I really wish I'd waited maybe 4-6 months before the first wash instead of washing every month. The overall color and texture looks nice, but I feel these would look better if the whiskers/honeycombs were more defined.
Everyone got their own tastes but... I think these are spot on as they are. They'd be my Sunday best / job interview / up in court jeans if they were mine.

@AlientoyWorkmachine @SallyKolchine don't know if it's any help but... I'm almost always a 32. 33 in flat head 3xxx. I also don't like a loose waist. Also usually get stuck on the thighs.
Despite the measurements looking painfully small, i went 32 I'm both the s40s and 50s, and both worked out great.
I think it's a mix of stretch and a higher rise maybe, like @discwork says? And my willingness to accept a muffin top in return for pretending i still have a 32 waist.

Im seeing considerable differences between the two for the same tag sizes, and hoping to confirm measurements for tags 33 and 34.
I just got 32s from tcb direct. Their measurements were pretty accurate I think. Also their hemming is spot on and communication great.
Also they stretch a bit. On the measurements, I was torn between 32 and 33. I went with the 32 and they are a lovely fit now. 33 would have ended up looser than I'd like I think. Fantastic jeans.

They're fantastic.
We are just the one year into this contest, is that right? I've not fallen asleep for a year or something?

If anyone wants to finish out the contest with my pair (size 38) let me know
That's like those relay races in the Olympics. Make sure you practise the handover.

Yes , if you mean cruiseboat turned into a club.

Like I need another reason not to be able to stand up if I'm drunk enough to be on board that thing

I don’t think any less of you tho … but aye, that 1° of latitude brings a totally different attitude
Just one degree north and you get allowed to wear long sleeved garments outside of February. I'm in

One time though a few lads were screaming navy fuck off when we were still on the river.
Ah sorry about that (wasn't me for clarity, just on behalf of the region)
Although there's a 50/50 chance that's a friendly greeting in Newcastle
