I did a detail with the fisheries and wildlife folks at my agency. It was pretty awesome. Got to spend some time building beaver dam analogues and electro fishing and eDNA sampling.
Electro fishing is so much fun! Right now my main focus is Salmon, but have worked with many other fish/inverts and hope to not work with salmon much longer (as important as they are, I am not really a big fan work wise haha). And was going to quote you and saw another federal employee! But I'm interior. Heard budget over at the forest service is quite slim haha.

I'm a marine/fisheries biologist. Was kind of nice being deemed essential for once! Nice to see environmental agencies being deemed essential haha even if it is mainly for water/money.

I'm actually liking the measurements haha, they have a nice taper (if the leg opening measurement can be had with the 30" inseam). Th only thing is they seem at least in the larger sizes to have pretty massive rises. Curious to see how they'll fit.

Yeah it's a carharrt N1 think it was called a sheffield Jacket. Got it about 8 years ago for cheap, thinking if it gets a lot of wear I'd end up dropping some cash an a RMC or IH one.
Ended up fitting/wearing so well didn't bother buying another!
Just googled, still available on sale
Sweet apprecaite it! doesn't look as good now in some of the pics but looks good on you, so probably jus the for sale photos haha. Thanks! Been on the edge of wanted an n1 (well have wanted one for a while) but just not sure I really need one or want to throw that much down. My a2 does the job but cheaper options are always nice.

Lol, I mean maybe Steve Jobs was the fashionista we never truly appreciated
Also, looking at your current fit makes me realise that going down a size might be a bit too ambitious. Your creases are very similar to mine, especially how tight the combs are behind the knees. Any tighter for me and I would look like a sausage. I think I've been obsessing too much on how the 710s fit Hayashi himself, but I gotta be realistic and understand that I don't have the same body shape!
Coming to terms with this for me was really hard haha.

Love SLO! My fiancé went to cal poly so we go there all the time. Edna valley has some great wineries and the hiking is amazing
Oh nice, it's an awesome place to go to school. Sadly I was only there for the weekend but I loved it. First time I've gone in the last 10 years or so. Ddin't get a chance to do any wineries but did some great hiking and wondering around while I was there. Visiting SLO makes me realzie how much I miss living on the coast haha.

Went to visit a friend in SLO. Took some film photos but haven't developed them yet but have some crappy pics of the denim. Wear them often but have a boring life so not much is happening. Also I feel like every pic I've uploaded I'm wearing the same stuff haha. I swear I have other clothes

I have them and they are great jeans. The black/ blue almost hides the slub and detail Oni are known for. The secret denim is their best denim IMO.
Don't expect the quick fades Oni usually give, the black over blue really holds on to the dye. Which is a bonus as I wasn't a great fan of how my 16oz Oni denim faded.
I was about to say I thought they were black/black jeans but looks like I mixed those up with the ONI-902ZR-BKBK. Oops haha, well good to hear they're quite nice! I was looking at the ONI-902ZR-BKBK for a nice black/black pair but kind of wish they weren't 20oz. Apprecaite the info!

Correction. ...
90ZR-AIZXBK secret denim arrive from being hemmed tomorrow. Haven't worn black jeans since school!
Kind of a revival but how do you like them? Not a huge fan of ONI but want a nice tapered all black pair and measurement wise, these seem to fit the bill.

The past month I've bought a few things from Japan, although most aren't shipped by EMS but still goes through Japan post and they seem to be taking at least an extra week or two to arrive to me in the US. So not totally sure but seems Japan post is running a bit slower the past month or two.

Should've let me know you were in town!
I know, I remembered like half way through and was like damn I forgot to hit up Broark. But don't worry my friends keep telling me to visit in spring so I am trying to plan another trip haha.

Shit ton of pics, sorry!
Went on a kind of last minute trip to Austin to visit some friends after their engagement. Was only there for 4-5 days but had fun! Shit ton of pics of random stuff, food and some jeans. Most photos are on film as well.

After wearing mine for a bit, I have truly fallen in love with them haha. I still wish for a tiny bit more space in the waist but i've been almost wearing them everyday now, and no real complaints. Was so-so at the start but was worth it! Glad the guys at göteborg manufaktur convinced me to keep them haha. First wash hopefully soon-ish.

@beautiful_FrEaK That sweater is awesome haha, any info on it?

I always took my jean/fade photos on a wooden deck. I feel the brown wood (whether it's stained/weathered or in good condition) really help bring out the color but does not saturate it. A lot of times I feel taking it on concrete (depending on lighting) can really mess with the contrast or color. However I have since lost the deck I took all my photos on and haven't been able to find any replacement. I attempted for a bit to take them on cardboard haha, but it's just not the same and have been using concrete backdrops.

Buyee has been great for buying car parts and stuff off yahoo auctions. I used a few proxys way back in the day but I feel buyee has made it a bit cheaper and easier (at least for yahoo auctions).

Was thinking of giving mine a wash this weekend as well to get rid of some indigo. Finally able to wear them more. I have to wear them without a belt, so feels werid but getting used to it.

My old 66s after a cold wash came out to be about 30.5" if that's anything to go by.

right hand drive in US is going to be funny. what car is it? you must really be crazy about it to order from Japan and use a rhd car in a lhd country.
Yeah it's pretty weird getting used to haha, and definitely get some funny looks. It is a 1983 Nissan Skyline DR30, and yeah I've wanted one for a long time so decided now is the itme haha. 80s and 90s JDM cars are rapidly increasing in price so figured now is the right time.

Not much evo on mine, but took a trip to Washington to pick up a car (that I bought 5 months ago from Japan!). Here's some pics from the journey back to California, sorry for lots of photos haha.

I love my A2 (vintage one I bought on ebay). But then again I don't live where it gets very cold so it works for me and haven't really tested it in weather below 30 degrees. Fit is great but wish it was a tiny bit longer.

Thanks for the info Kiya! Definitely going to have to check them out in person!
