Recently hemmed my Roys, do you guys think that they are too short for a small cuff at the moment? They are just perhaps 0.75 inches below the tops of my Jack Purcells, with a teeny bit of stacking.

I think they look perfect as is. I don't think you have enough length for cuffing to work well, especially after you start to develop some combs behind the knees.

That's the Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas. It's about 45 minutes outside of Austin; all you can eat bbq and byob. The place is legendary.

The IH duck jacket will look better once it's been worn for a while. That one is straight out of the packing crate- it still has a crease across the middle from being folded. As for the fit, I believe rnrswitch is right; that's authentic to the original cut, which was slim and a bit short. If you'd prefer a looser fit, just size up. Giles (the fit model) is about 6'2" and is wearing a large, if I recall correctly, so there's room to upsize for just about everyone.

I hate to say it, (especially since I have a pair of the Wind, too) but from the pictures I've seen of all the Element series, they really aren't that interesting. I mean, the colored wefts are cool, but it really doesn't seem to come through at all as the jeans fade. That disappoints me some.

Super heavyweight, solid construction and no excess ornamentation. Prices are pretty good, too. I've got a couple of them and they've been damn near indestructible. If you really want warm, get the thermal lined hoodie. It's massively thick.

I tried to buy a pair of those about a year ago, but the fit just didn't work for me. I really liked the fabric; nice and light, which would have been perfect for the summers down here. Plus, they're quite nicely made. Sucks for me, but congratulations to you on a good score.

For the Flat Head horseshoe key rings, the website shows that there are none in stock in the US, but 9 in stock for the rest of the world. Does this mean I can only get one if I leave the country? I like them and all, but i'm not sure they're worth that much effort...
