Agreed. Usually I don't go for that Levis trademark infringing look, but something about that pair is very cool.

This has probably been answered already by '2nd' is pretty hard to search. If I email 2nd (a jean shop that sells samurai jeans) in english will they understand it? Also do they ship to the US? Thanks in advance.
Almost positive the answer to both questions is yes (say, 90% sure or so...)

Fixed that for you.

I like the Wind denim- the green is subtle, though I expect it will come out a bit more over time.

^^^Quite a bit of it, in fact.

Measurements on Iron Heart's website and Selfedge are different for the beatle busters...
which one should I go by? Or are they just different batches of jeans with different measurements?
Well, they could both be right...
SE and IH measure the thighs slightly differently- SE 1" down from the crotch, while IH measures right at the seam. I think they do the knees at slightly different places, too, but the difference there will be less noticeable. Just for the hell of it, I've measured my jeans both ways and the thigh on a couple of pairs was different by a full inch.

Ummm, actually, you can. Obviously not in the summer, but I wore sweatshirts a few times back in Dec-Feb.

According to SE's website, it's a Singer darning machine from the 50s. Looks like the model number is 47w70.
Check the pics here.

That's pretty much it, AFAIK.

Today was pizza day-
Start out with some fresh dough
Then add some satay peanut sauce (from Trader Joe's)
Throw on some green onions and roasted red peppers
Add some chicken
Cover it all with some mozzarella cheese
Then after it bakes for a while, add some chopped peanuts and a few more green onions to finish it off
Finally, slice it and it's ready to serve
Of course, I should have been a bit more careful before I carried food from the kitchen to the living room; I use too much flour...

Is that Daniel Faraday?
I thought he looked familiar; good eye, hollows.

Not yet- Ed hasn't bought 4 pairs...

It's SE, not Walmart- they don't need all 23 million Australians to buy something to make it a strong market. A couple hundred semi-steady customers is probably enough to make the country a significant percentage of sales.
But I'm no expert, so I'm just guessing...

I would like to provide her the opportunity to do so.
Seconded...

Yeah, that would be the seal of approval. Until that happens, Corcorans are total crap. After it happens, they're awesome.
In all seriousness, I rather like Corcorans, aside from the fact that I'm too lazy to lace them up- that pair is pretty tall.

They even deduct VAT for non-EU orders...
You bastard- I clicked on the link and thought, "Hmm, wonder what else they have up for sale?" Now I want these:
Damn, these things are beautiful. I love that antique color and the cap toes, but I really don't need to spend the money. I never would have known about them if it weren't for you, CTB!

uuugghhhh
I don't know why, but about one minute in, I just started laughing. I totally dig her now.

Yeah, I see your point. The soles are especially bright in the original version. Can't shake the feeling that they need different laces, though. Something like those flat waxed dark brown laces that Alden uses on its jumper boots, maybe?
They really are beautiful boots, nonetheless.

Wow, I like those PBJs so much I immediately checked BiG to see if I could get a pair. I may be hooked.

What did the RRL Bowery boots look like before you used the dark brown shoe polish on them?

Just think a bit, doesn't hurt...
I think...OWWW... I think...OWWW. Damnit, Max, it does hurt!

I'm kinda liking their t-shirts. What I can see of the shop looks nice.
