It's the Chemnitz claw! Soon it will spread all across the globe...

Look like Docs to me, too. Probably an older pair from back in the days when they were made in England.
When they moved production to China, it seems like they changed the lasts. That's just my opinion, totally not backed up by any facts, though.

I'd say Strike Gold. Everyone that's seen them raves about the denim.

does anyone know if the s5000 elements stretch as much as the zero denim?
Dunno about the zero denim, but my pair of Wind element haven't stretched that much at all. One of the reasons I don't wear them often, actually. They're really tight in the thighs.

...I'm kinda not feeling them anymore and just want to hang them up...
I think this is your answer right here. If you don't want to wear them any more, then it's time to to move on to the next pair.

If you put something you want to sell on the sales/deals thread you get neg repped to fuck.
Everyone else has to sell their stuff on the supermarket.
Some sufuer's are more equal than others?
Dude, learn to read. The deals thread specifically says in the very first post, "Don't post your own items for sale. That's what the marketplace is for. Post here and you'll get NEG'd in the face."
Didn't you get banned once before for being a douche, Redchris?

Damn, Stunt; you just ruined Skittles for me...

Wonder if this is before or after the frat boys slipped her a couple of roofies...

Damn, that's one hell of a "small" gift, dude. You've got a pretty special girl if she's willing to give you those two.

Trubalance last
Faux cap toe high boot (krone stitched cap)
Two Leather Options:
1) Natural Chromexcel
2) Black Regina grain calf. Regina is a leather style...it's a natural, shrunken leather, there's grain to it. *Nice and supple.
Regular welt, all around heel.
Tan wedge Goodyear rubber sole
All metal eyelets
$495.00
Only available at Leather Soul in December.
New Iron Heart jean will be releasing at the same time designed by SE and LS. A new heavier denim that's sanforized, super dark indigo. This will probably be the longest lasting IH denim to date and will age closer to what a unsanforized denim ages like due to it's short oxidation period between dips but high dip count.
Boots would sound even better if they had a commando sole. I really don't like wedge soles, unfortunately.
Yup, new cut, straight leg with a medium/low rise.Jeans sound very, very interesting. I'm gonna have to start saving now.

I kind of want to start watching BSG again. I watched all the way up to like half of Season 2. If I start again I'd have to re-watch all of the episodes leading up to that, I don't think I could just start halfway through Season 2 after three years. This is what is stopping me :/
Great show and I'd say it's totally worth watching again, even if you have to restart from the beginning. First 2 seasons were my favorite, as it started to get metaphysical toward the end, but still an awesome show. And so many hot, hot women. Come to think of it, there are no unattractive chicks on that show.

Those do look nice. I suspect they'll be cut too thin for me, but that's my problem, not theirs. Looking forward to more pics when you get them.

So this was actually what I was doing yesterday, but I'm always slow getting pictures uploaded. Anyway, I was welcoming HoustonCaroline into the world. Granted, my wife did the hard part...
And since she's better looking than I am, here's a closer picture. She's probably thinking, "Wow, it's been a tough day. I think I'll take a nap."
Happily, she looks a lot like her mother, rather than me. ;D

Average tailor should be able to do it. In the denim repair thread here, I've seen some people sew up the outseam themselves, so it doesn't look particularly complicated.

Actually what I was doing yesterday…
I was out of town for the week again, so lots of driving through rural Texas, which means that I occasionally see random animals on the ranch. First up, (imagine this in Shrek’s voice)-
DONKEY!!
Then, some surprisingly mangy looking bison-
And what’s more Texan than a longhorn?
OK, well maybe crazy is more Texan…
When I finally got to the house, I reviewed the progress, or lack thereof, on our renovations. Part of the time was spent having an illuminating conversation with the tile supplier, in which I found out that the definition of “in stock” includes tile that is actually in California and won’t be in Houston for a week. Note my incredulous expression as this is explained to me, in a tone clearly conveying that not only are my expectations unreasonable, but also that my intellect is surpassed by a Mongoloid gerbil…
The day was not a complete waste, as I did receive a nice little package in the mail from JimmyC and Iron Heart-

I only managed to go a few times, place puts whole foods to shame.
Yup, Central Market is awesome. The fruit selection is always the best in town and I could spend obscene amounts of money in the cheese and beer sections.

634S is a wonderful pair of jeans; can't go wrong with them, as far as I'm concerned.

OK, so these don't have any real wear on them, and I know that's an issue for some, but I wanted to post a couple of pics simply to establish a baseline for down the road, when they do have more mileage.
Actual color is somewhere between the two, but closer to the second shot. Too bad my crappy photography skills don't do these shoes justice. They really are beautiful.
EDIT: Forgot to mention- these are Tricker's Belgrave oxfords.

Tricker's Belgrave (4537 last): size 91/2, 5 fitting (UK)
Nike: 11D
Mizuno: 11D
Cole Haan: 11D
Palladium Pampa: 10D
PF Flyers (Center, Number 5): 11D
William Lennon 78PTC: 10
Viberg: (2030 last) 10DWhite's: (Swing last) 10D
The William Lennon boots are probably a half size too large, but WL doesn't do half sizes & I decided to go bigger, rather than smaller. 9 might fit, but I'm not willing to risk it. My feet are pretty average- no corns, bunions, fallen arches etc., so I usually don't have any fitting issues. As soon as I find the right size, I'm golden. I haven't needed to try on sneakers in years; I just buy them, generally over the internet.

I think not dubbing them out of sheer laziness was a good call. They've aged really nicely without it.

pokpok and chantheman are my heros.

I made the "s" hook myself from some heavy copper wire I got at a local hardware store.
Thanks! I'll have to give that a shot.

Hey McBaine- did you do the s hook on that yourself, or did you buy it somewhere? I've been trying to figure out some hardware for a bracelet I've got half made and I really like the way that looks.

Whatever happened to professionalism and letting your products speak for themselves? The crappy grammar and punctuation grates a bit, too. The whole thing makes me think less of Bakershoe, rather than less of Viberg.
