It's actually Steinhart nav 47mm. I can't see myself wearing anything smaller, tried on 42-44 before, look quite awkward for my big wrist. Would love to own IWC one day though
I thought it was a Steinhart! I have one myself- nice watch. You get used to the size quickly, too. After a while it's tough to go back to anything else.

check wikipedia- druids are renowned for their innovations in chain link.

They both could be accurate.
You gotta be careful, because there is no universal standard for measuring jeans (unfortunately). Check the way they measure their jeans; a 1/2 inch difference could be entirely due to variations in methodology. Add in the fact that jeans vary slightly from pair to pair, and there's not a lot of consistency. Comparing between websites often is misleading.
Not sure about the 1.5" difference in inseam, though; that's pretty significant.

^^^these are nice konadog.
you should sell them fast; those soles look like virtually untouched. if it weren't for the roughout vamp, i'd be interested.

for $30 i would've slept on 'em
eh, for $30 it's not a bad pickup. i'd pay that for a pair of beaters to wear while painting. i'm not trying to spill white semi-gloss latex on my samurais. some folks dig the paint splattered jeans, but that ain't me.
honestly, i think they've worn in pretty well. not a lot of contrast, but a nice overall fade with a good shade of blue.

I'm not seeing the Momotaro T-shirts anywhere on your website. Jay has been telling me he's eventually going to re stock those, but it sounded like it would be a while out. I've been trying to track down a red one in small myself.
They're out of stock at the moment... snet me a pm and I'll let you know when replenishment will take place.
Any chance Momotaro will start making t-shirt sizes that fit us oversized gaijins? I have an XL one and it fits like an American medium, which is way too small for me to wear in public. Small children would start crying and hide behind their mommies.

Nope, it's a completely new super dark indigo sanforized denim, it looks nearly black but it's just a super saturated warp yarn.
this will be very cool. too bad I'm stocked up on denim. May have to clear some space anyway...

Pink inseam= Momotaro.
That's just the way it should be. I thought I wouldn't like it, but now that I have a couple of pairs, I love the pink inseam.

Truth.
I hate the photoshopped asses we've been getting the last few pages. At least try to find some that might be real.

My Croc wallet has caused some interesting fades.
Thanks for all the positive comments guys!
I like the 'durian' pattern as it contributes to a unique/personal fade on my jeans and is different to the usual wallet fades.
I agree. It is unique looking, and in my opinion, much cooler than the standard wallet fades. Durian ass for the win!

re: hide thickness, any1 handled/knows about bison? maybe, comparative to bull hide or water buffalo? or thicker?
... while @it, any macro shots [to see texture]
Bullhide is fairly heavy (no liner necessary) and tough. It's one of my favorites for boots. Water buffalo is fairly thin, requiring lining leather for construction, and takes a shine nicely, but also scuffs quickly. Better for a dressier pair, rather than a working pair of boots. Personally, I don't care for it much, since I inexplicably tear up leather. Bison is somewhere in between the other two, in my experience. Heavy enough to not need lining leather, but not as tough as bullhide. Usually it has a texture to it, like bullhide, but often sueded.
Sorry, no pics, since the only boots I had in water buffalo, bison and bullhide I owned, i've long since sold.
Maybe more appropriate for this/that thread, but I'm going where the knowledge is...
Thoughts? Main differences seem to be the 3/4 storm welt vs 360 goodyear, sole, and laces. Both Natural Chromexcel, both trubalance.
Would go for a non-celastic smoke jumper in natural cxl in a heartbeat if Baker's would follow through on that leather option, but I'm getting impatient.
Well, laces are an easy switch, so I'm gonna set that issue aside. Welt stitching color likewise isn't much of a concern, since a little wear will darken that up. That brings us to the 3/4 v. full Goodyear welt. Generally, I prefer full welt, but for practical purposes, they're about the same. Appearancewise, I'd give the edge to the bottom pair, though. As for the sole itself, I prefer the rubber sole and neoprene heel on the top pair. Leather soles look great, but from a practical standpoint, the rubber will last longer, be more comfortable and give better traction. Since these aren't dress boots and are built on the same last, using the same leather, making fit identical, I say go with the top pair- they look great and will feel better and last longer.

Blue Shadow one month fit pic...
Wow, those look nice. I wasn't sure about the electric blue pocket arcs when I saw them on BiG's website, but they really look good once the denim starts to fade a bit.
