Hey bros, my friend is considering the image below for his first tattoo. I'd like to hear your guys feedback on how feasible you think it would be, also if you have artist recommendations who do amazing color then I'm interested in hearing that as well. Willing to travel, but NYC is closest.

it can definitely be done, i would do it with a frame around it to delineate yellows from skin tones better. I've seen stuff like this done nicely before. I think the trick is to find an artist that doesn't tattoo using hard line stencils. I guess it involves a little more free form for the lack of a better word.

didn't have to pay anything, then i got to the airport there was a sign saying that it would be an extra $15 for any extra cartons of 200... that would have made a carton $50 and still worth it. i would have bought more had i known.

i rewatch the west wing every year, my favorite tv show ever hands down. the second season get better and has an amazing finale.

hope you bought those marlboro at duty free cause cigs in nyc are pretty pricey........

havent bought that one yet but i probably will eventually. have an expensive tattoo to pay for and since i just a vacation the money is tight.

the dark rider is sooooo heavy, i was almost too warm sometimes, mind you the weather was fantastic... except for the day i went up the empire state building in 30mph winds. that was a little frightening.

Got to visit Self Edge in NY for the first time. Top notch shop. Really enjoy meeting Andrew and Thomas and the rest for the crew... and drinking a bunch of their beer. The products were really great to see in person and I saw some jeans I may one day want to order. Walked away with a Buzz sweater, IH Dark Rider flannel, self edge key fob, flat head key ring, and a couple issue of mens file... probably going to order the 3sixteen eggplant flannel shirt as well soon.

Really top notch guys, hope to see you all again soon, maybe to San Fran for my next trip and visit to the original store.

Just got back from New York, didn't give my heavyweights much of a work out. Stuck with my trusty Dry Bones most days... Hung out in Self Edge a bunch of times. Love that place. Great people there and word has it my tee's arrived while I was gone.

We just got Geller Seconds stuff today. I'll update here as much as possible until someone tells me to not to.

First shipment included:

Sweatpants(really slim) in grey and black.

Warmup pants(3/4) in black.

Sleeveless combo hoodie in grey/grey.

Actual Geller should be fairly soon but we don't ever get exact dates.

I am sure no one will care you posting new arrivals... At least I won't care as long as they don't care when I post when my shop Motoretta gets hillside and 3sixteen this spring... As well ad others.

It's always good to see what's available locally. We can get anything through the web but supporting the locals is key.

Went to the Warby Parker office yesterday and ordered myself two pairs. Can't wait to get them.

I also bought the iron heart dark rider flannel, a buzz sweatshirt, a couple issues of mens file lightning, the Harley davidson fashions book, rugged 211 book, jcrew utility shirt, hillside hanky, some uniqlo stuff and a cashmere skullcap from Odin.

On vacation and in new York for the first time. So much to buy so little time!

I got my medium field bag from these guys. Pretty good pricing and the people are easy to deal with. Better chance of getting a deal too. My field back had a small scratch on the leather on the back side of the bag and they gave me 20% off for it. Barely noticeable and it has a he'll if a lot more scratches now.

I haven't received mine yet in Toronto either. Mind you I am in new York right now so I have no idea if it is there. That last time I ordered a tee from jimmyc it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I think it's just takes longer sending a package like that through regular mail instead of as a package.

We to self edge yesterday and met Andrew and Thomas there in person. Really great guys to hang out with. Thomas kept on feeding me beer so I kept shopping. Picked up a nice iron heart flannel, a buzz ruckson sweat and a couple copies if mens file. Might go back and grab a 3sixteen flannel in eggplant.
