How do people typically go about removing that tag above the leather label? I just purchased the 1945 101 and just tore it off thinking there were perforations, but I damn near tore the entire stitching out trying to remove the label.
A long shot, but anybody have an idea of the shrinkage on the denim used for the Lot 215 Type 2 jacket? Kinda in between sizes depending on the amount of shrinkage. Also, is the denim on all of the jackets same? E.g. the 118J, 147J and this lot 215.
Damn, I must really be easy on my jeans because I feel like these jeans don't fade at all. Been wearing them ~5 days a week since the comp started and I can barely see anything lightening up.
If anyone's going to order from Standard & Strange, I have a $140 gift card code I'm trying to offload for $100. I'll post up a screenshot of the balance in a bit.
Anybody pick up one of these bad boys?

I wasn't going to buy any jeans until WOMCOM was over but couldn't help myself. Not sure if I sized correctly because the size charts are all over the map, and Warehouse is quoting 7-8cm of shrinkage in the waist lol.
Pardon the hasty work-restroom photo, I'll get some with better lighting later. Fit is what I was looking for, slimmer than I thought it'd be though. Hopefully the waist stretches back out 0.5-1 inch for comfort.
Finally gave these a piping hot wash and machine dry, the puckering/roping is crazy and the leather seems to have held up well enough. I did rub a little Obenauf's on it which I haven't done to patches in almost 20 years. Plus, I got two belt loops with selvedge which was a nice little surprise.
If these jeans fit, I'll be wearing them minimum five days a week for 12-16 hours... thing is, I have jeans I've worn for the same duration for one-plus years and they've barely faded 😂 I'm in this for the love of the game.
Starting from what size were vintage Type IIs made with a T-back? Deciding if I should go full-on short boxy cut with Mepse's size 52 since the sleeve lengths still look good...
Looks good on ya! Nice short boxy fit which I think looks best for denim jackets. I have the opposite problem where I want my jackets short (less than 24 inches ideally) but the sleeves end up being too short if I try to size based on back length.
