Grew up in the A2 area and living here again temporarily; 'Today' does well in online sales from what I hear and it's really the only place to go for most of the brands they carry in the Midwest outside of Chicago for example. That, and lots of New Yorkers and what's left of international students bringing in some money helps during the school season. They've built a strong/loyal customer base, nice guys 👍

Sooooo good 🙏 I have no regrets in life, other than not getting a pair of those (and Ooe Cinchbacks lol)

^I mean hell yeah you know? 🙏 https://www.instagram.com/p/DBqDLoAJP_W/?img_index=1 Looks great paired with the vest too

Also just chiming in to say glad you're alright/safe! From the faded areas (not to mention the chunk missing) it seems it was quite the impact 😱

@JohnnyD @southofnonorth this is why I keep coming back to sufu 🙇♂️🙇♂️

My guess is the upcoming "Amoskeag" Ooe pairs will be similar, though it isn't clear what exact year they'll be based on. Would be cool if they have the gusset as well, they've done some good AHEM...crotch work...and button fly work in the past

More Japanese Youtube content, but wow those 22's at the 20:15 mark

A testament to how good their denim is...Super vintagey 🙏

Whoa whoa whoa, I'll have you know, I wear socks of the EGGSHELL and CREAM variety, not white!
-
Not to rag on Mildblend as I'm sure they're fine for most non-sufu types, but I remember taking a pair of Warehouse there years back and was soooo confused when I realized they used a non-matching poly thread 🤣 Never took my jeans there again needless to say 😅

Not to build hype because these will be a MUST BUY for me, but OMG I think it's going to be the Amoskeag pair/s ❤️🔥 ❤️🔥 ❤️🔥 https://www.instagram.com/p/DBfBggyT2uU/?img_index=2

You know you're old when your repros of vintage have become vintage themselves 🥴 Right there with you @paulm, it's not a dig

Alright, who's going to bite? https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-cone-denim-white-oak-selvedge-jean-in-raw-indigo-112364207.html?merchCategory=search https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-cone-denim-white-oak-selvedge-jacket-in-raw-indigo-112364205.html?merchCategory=search Also a fan of this, though the reviews hilariously trash the embroidery which is the selling point for me: https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-blue-bell-raw-denim-jacket-in-cooper-112359603.html?merchCategory=search

Much appreciated @Broark looks like I'm going with the 44! Strange I don't own any other articles of clothing from Ooe than jeans/pants 😅
-
I'm being super lazy and haven't looked at any old charts but generally, are they Japanese sizing or Western sizing? Looks like a 44 (XXL) is the largest size available anyways so I'd probably get that, but am half expecting it to fit like a US size L (I wear a 44 in Full Count denim jackets for a regular fit, for reference)

Nice overview of jackets, unfortunately in Japanese w/no subtitles. One of these days I should offer to translate and post to sufu for posterity 😂 Some great insights here that should've been obvious to me but I didn't think about all these years, for example, the Lee Riders jacket was the most advanced/functional between the three brands and was basically unchanged in design. The Levi's type 3 released 10-12 years later (apologies typing from memory here) is basically an admission that the Lee jacket was superior and nearly all the design cues on the type 3 were informed by it. Nonetheless, my man here says personally the Lee jacket is the least "cool" when wearing from a style perspective, despite being the most functional, whereas the Levis Type 2 is his favorite

Thanks for the feedback everyone! May be picking up a pair of 220A soon 😂
-
So is the consensus that all of the newer Denime fabrics break in/fade fast? Found a 220A in my size but also interested in the 220XX-54 but want something fast 😂

Ooof one of the roughouts is available in what might be a half size too small for me.....Kind of tempted to make the jump, but also don't want to deal with return shipping etc. lol
