  1. jake, I have a 507 just like that- no XX. Are the buttons stamped 822? If so, what year is it from? The inner tag (not the leather one) in mine is long gone. Anyone know what factory 822 designates? I assume it's after the San Antonio plant closed.

  2. Just threw mine in the wash for the third or fourth time. I'll try to post pics in the morning.

I rolled myself down my street for five blocks. Cars were honking, and I incited more than a few road rage incidents. I'm really sore and bruised up, but I looked avant-garde doing it and I should get some sick fadez. Fuck it, money grows on trees.

    Not really.

  4. in my opinion those lone wolf engineers (and most vintage inspired work boots) look a little awkward with that showroom shine. the charm comes with some neglect and regular wear.

partytaco, I'm sure that the other 20+ pairs of vintage inspired work boots dude owns have prevented any wear from happening to the LW.

Did I just say that out loud?

  5. Not much to report a month in. Worn everyday, washed again 2 weeks in. A little bit of hige starting to barely come in. Some other lightening of the indigo in the usual spots. I imagine it'll take another month for noticable fading to show up. Best pair of jeans I've owned yet, and that's coming from a WH 1001xx owner.

  6. howd you guys go about putting the tab on ?

wesc, I put my tag on where it is on my Warehouse 1001xxs. I only broke the outside line of stitches around the backpocket; the tag wasn't wide enough to be stiched in with both lines of backpocket stiching. Hope that made sense! I also sewed beyond where I cut the stitches out, hoping to prevent future breaking of the original stiching. Took maybe 10 minutes from start to finish.
