swisschalet,nothing wrong with that fit.My sc okinawas had a much bigger "diaperass",after soaks and some wear the denim soften up and the effect isnt noticable at all.Dont forget 55s are a vintagecut..

The story behind the 1908 is that I ordered them in May 06 at cultizm.I went in a local shop before to get the size right,the employee there talked me into a size 9 as he didnt had a 9.5 to compare.I trusted him and ordered a 9,which turned out to be half a size too small.After having a hard time breaking them in they streched to a comfortable fit.They fit well lenghtwise but could be a tad wider and I cannot wear any insoles.As I never owned a pair of RWs before,I was surprised by the overall quality and decided to order a pair of 9011 in 9.5,which fit perfect but failed completely in the way RW putted them together,as you could see in my post a few sites back.

on a sidenote,my pair above is tagged 34/36 but measured 39" inseam.LVC made in S1 06 a mistake (again) and delivered some models,like the 55raw with 3" extra in lenght.not that i care though,as my pair measures after soaks and washes a perfect 36".shrank to tagged size!

Its because of the levis law thing,they dont allow other companys to have sewn a tab between the rearpockets,not in japan though..

Sympathy,AFAIK they where last made in raw in 2000,which is mine from.I remember CottonDuck got one at ebay fairly cheap,I think they are not very common,dont know why.For me its one of the nicest jackets LVC ever did!

If you are wondering why i did not returned them,they where out of size and cultizm offered me to keep them and choose another model.I agreed and took the 8138 which i posted earlier.In the end i got two pairs for the price of one.

My pair of GT 9011s,bought about a year ago and having some problems with:

some stitching coming loose

the triple-stitching holding vamp and shaft together is out of line...

...resulting in the black top-stitching coming loose.I went to a local cobbler,he told me the leather is too thick,nothing he can do (" but very nice boots,mister!") so I took needle and thread out and did it myself.Its visible but makes them more personal.Also note the crooked weldstitching.

The left side is rubbing the colour off.
