My 0105 # 008 arrived yesterday.Size 31,they are not hemmed to 37" as requested so after a hotsoak I threw them in the machine at 70°C.

before: waist 34",thight 13",inseam 40" ,leg 8,5"

after : waist 31",thight 12",inseam 36,5",leg 8"

at the moment I cannot upload any pics,hope that problem is solved soon.

whats click-n-ship? like a trackingnumber? my pair will be shipped by usps,are they using trackingnumbers?

oh, i didn't mention the pair i want it to look like is pre-distressed. i was just using the fade as an example because i can't find any actual 1920 201 pictures online. also, i don't know if this makes a difference, but do jeans fade faster if they're in constant heat and sunlight?

My 201s didnt shrink at all,and I did a 1hour soak in boiling water and used a dryer.nothing wrong with the denim being soft and constant sunlight will bleach the indigo but you will not get any contastfading.wear your jeans a lot and they will hopefully come out like Paul T ones.he started a whole thread about 201s.do a little research and you will find all the info you need.

I am sure they will when the jeans hit the shop finally,just hope hemming will not take too long.Until then its up to the existing contestants to entertain us with more gossip and DIY paintjobs!

Well,I got restless at the end of december,faithless in january and hopeless in february... only joking! Now my mantra is "seeing is believing".

Everybody here knows what a great job DP,Gordon and FC did for making this all possible.I think the 23. Feb. was awaited eagerly by the rest of us but nothing happend,and the infos about contestjeans at BIG or that they will be there yesterday didnt help either.BUT most annoying is looking at all of this pics with great fits,paint- and sewingjobs barehanded - now that is unfair!

Anyway,they are on their way now,hope I will step in the game in one or two weeks!

Just had a look at both the japanese and cultizms 1917,whats the difference to the 1901 released last spring?from the pictures I can see that they come with a two horsepatch,but what else?

I just checked my emails:The longer inseam models were shipped out from Japan yesterday so we’re expecting them by the weekend.

just called BiG, she said they were supposed to come in yesterday and they still haven't arrived today yet, but that they could come in some time before 6:30 this evening and that we'll get an e-mail when they arrive.

Mich & almostnice, thanks for the comments. This weekend i'll try to stretch the inseams a bit. It's mostly because I'm not used to wearing my jeans so short; usually have a cuff of almost 2" with my raw denim. How do you guys go about? just make them wet/moist and pull them with your hands or hang weights on them?

The weird part is that i'm not tall, only 171 cm's. In his mail Gordon explained that after full shrinkage jeans would end up around 32.5" so I thought that would leave me plenty of cuff but after just a machine wash on 40 degrees celsius, they shrank to a 31"! It's weird that everyone else didn't have as much shrinkage with the inseam

Its probably because most did a hot soak so far.In my experience a proper machinewash can alter the fit/lenght of raw denim much more than a soak.

I would go for 30 in both.Owning them myself ( being a 32) my 44 in w33 is def. too large in the waist.I got the 1901 in 32 which fits just about right.

Btw,shouldnt you wear a Fullcount for the next 12 months?

This is how i wear my lvc 47,its just the right lenght with boots.I do also pull the inseam while wet,1" is always doable.As I want to be on the safe side I ordered the 0105 with a 37" inseam,hopefully I will wear them in about 2 weeks;)

I'm not sure but I'd like to find out. I imagine that they have a sheet with 90 numbers on it and they randomly pick a number, fix it to a pair of jeans and send it out.

That must be it since there are plenty of jeans that have no numbers since they are still being made.

If I remember correctly the numbers are given out in succession how BIG received the orders.If you placed your order early you should get a low number.

quick question: i wear a 12 in the alden indy and a 12 in the 9011.

is an 11.5 in the 8138 going to be ok?

I am a 9.5 in my RWs,incl. 9011 and 8138.If you want to buy online find a shop and try them on to make sure.

...and explain why the price is raised to 275,-$ now...I just hope it will cost not an arm and a leg for us euro contestants:(

They're the 0105s. I wouldn't take 100% stock in my measurements as I was giggling like a schoolgirl as I took them.

front rise: 12.63

back rise: 16.75

thigh: 12.63

knee: 9.75

hem. 9.5

inseam: 34.75

Me either,I dont mind starting late.I will sit back,relax and watching you doing all the dirtwork .It will make this thread more interesting ,instead of having all contestants posting the same pics of jeans soaking in a bathtub or else at the same time.And most important,I can give my okis some more wear!
