  1. looks legit to me.given the inaccuracy that happens to lvc garnments sometimes,it might be possible that someone in the factory just grabbed a doublesided tab.I would like to see a picture of the inner tag.Pictures looks good, nice fade.how much did you pay?

  2. Quick question...

I bought a LVC 1947 (with a Big E red tab) on ebay.

Thing is I remember Paul T mentioning that the 47's only had LEVIS written on one side. My LVC 47's have LEVIS written on both sides. Plus it says 555 on the top button. Does this mean that my pair is fake? Can somebody help me?

    Thanks.

AFAIK changed Levis somewhere in the 50`s frome single- to doubleside tabs. But i never saw ,for example, any thaifakes stamped 555.Pictures would help!

  3. Bought this yesterday in a thriftshop, for € 3,- i couldnt mind.Iam pretty sure its not lvc, just wondering why it shows a big E on the tag and buttons and

    not on the neck tag.P1020417-1.jpgP1020426-1.jpgP1020434-1.jpg

somebody shed some light please. If its just some cheap fake its still good enough for my work.

  4. Nothing special here, some sort of B-3 of unknown origin.P1020408-1.jpgP1020409-1.jpg

I dont know how old it is,prob.10-15 years, but its getting dry and worn and as i have no problems caring for my boots,i dont know what to use here.sorry for overexposure.P1020416-1.jpg

some fitpics, looks big on me,iam just wearing a shirt underneath, outside its some big jumper.P1020441-1-1.jpgP1020439-2.jpg

Does anybody knows whats best to use for this one?

  5. ^^^genius! really nice jeans & pics, and the fading's awesome as usual :)

are they straight-up Lee, or are they jp repros?

edit- I'm really sorry not to rep. 4.0 still isn't letting me rep anyone :(. If anyone could rep lilldavid again for me it'd be much appreciated!

    job done,bill.I would have anyway.

David your fitpics are great as always!

  6. Than i must missed something,as i was pretty sure that LVC isnt made in the us anymore.i read it somewhere in this thread, prob. a few months ago, that the last us company producing LVC closed down.If you check cultizm.com you will find for example the blanketlined 506 jacket, made in turkey.

  7. many of the washed and distressed denims are from turkey, but manufactured in italy, and maybe also Turkey like yours.

the rigid stuff is made in the us though.

Mine is the raw/rigid version, bought last year from cultizm, its def. made in turkey,Dejan also states this on his page.

  8. Great fit there Markus! I think they'll look even better after a soak... and those 47s look dope!

Thanks.I know that and i would love to do that, but i just have too many to wear. That shows how unresistable your offer was.;)

  9. Levi's denim is still made by Cone in North Carolina, who've been supplying it to them since the 1920s; they pulled their old looms out of retirement about 20 years ago and supply all of LVC's redline denim. Some of their selvage denim, mostly for the reissues of 20s and earlier jeans, comes from Japanese companies, including Kurabo and Kaihara.

    More info:

Hi Paul,my 506 jacket from last season is made in Turkey.Does that mean the denim is imported to europe where lvc is producing some stuff.

I guess it is the same denim they use on the 1933, light like 9oz,same selvageline.Do you know more?

I also thought LVC isnt made in the us anymore?

  10. good stuff^^ and thanks for the info on the pleat front jacket. tried to +rep you but version4.0 still doesn;t seem to let me rep anyone (nothing happens when I click on the rep box...) sorry :(

nevermind, the pics doesnt show the real contrast anyway.couldnt use natural light and the flash made the coulors more even.I just couldnt mind to take more and i dont want to bore you with too much pics of the same thing.

If i only know what ringring did to his pleatjacket...

Its in the denim heavy gallery,so nice...

  11. It's amazing how many people get caught up in these forums/competitions and totally forget that its a business trying to be run and they are already getting massive favours and opportunities just getting the chance to buy a rare and specially made product like this.

I fully agree,as long as i get my pair (i signed up and voted my size ).

I just dont want to see some douchebag who is not sufurelated walking in front of me,wearing this rare and specially product, probably in my size, while i missed out cause i ordered five minutes late.
