    • Probably pulling the trigger for the new 40s preorder. I'm really torn on what size though. I've gone through so many pairs over the last 4 years since I've started weightlifting. I'm 5'9 173 lbs, true size 34, but need a thigh < 13". Judging by the waist/around measurement a size 36 would look like it could work - I figure with the higher rise, they could sit a little lower on my hips and give me enough room in the top block. I feel like if I go with a size 38 the waist will be too big and give me crotch folds. The jeans I'm mainly wearing now are the Rivet & Hide RJB collab jeans  in a size 34 and they feel too snug, likely could of gone with a 36 there. Idk what to do, I told myself I would only buy new jeans in person, but these look too good to pass up 😅

    • I was tempted to set up something like the above ^ just to get around storage + battery limitations on my phone…but in the end decided against it since, even with the bit of extra space, fitting everything on the local drive would have meant downconverting my whole library, and even then it would probably have been tight In stead I landed on moving all my media to a Synology NAS box, and setting up a lightweight Plex server. It was pretty straightforward to get it up and running, and it lets me stream my music from anywhere without needing to do any conversions or make any copies. It also gives me easy access to streaming my movies & TV, although that collection is quite a bit smaller. As an added bonus, there’s enough room on the NAS that I was able to set up an extra partition for keeping backups of my computer and phone. I’d definitely recommend a similar setup to anyone with a large library
    • Unexpectedly hot as blazes last week.   I usually set up the patio in a tank top or just shirtless and change into a tee afterwards but it was so hot I just left the tank top on.  New haircut but otherwise same old stuff, denim cap, sunfaded selvedge bandana, orphan vest, 501 STF, Justin's Boots...
