  1. I prefer the Hawaii’s over the Okinawa’s. Better looking cut and fabric. Also better patch imho As for Samurai, I love the models I have now but I haven’t seen anything from them recently that makes me think I need to buy it. As mentioned there so many model numbers are also very confusing.
  2. EBay or Grailed maybe, 2nd only has a 29 left. Otherwise good luck as it’s dead stock.
  3. I use Ratuken to search for stuff then generally use Buyee to buy it.
  4. Yeah bought one wash from them. Thanks I’ll hem them my normal length then
  5. Just about to get my L0105XX hemmed. They are one wash so do I need to account for any shrinkage or can i hem to my normal length?
  6. Just grabbed my first pair of Full Count's. L0105XX 50's. FC's were always on my list and seeing limited made me snatch them up. I'll fit them into my rotation somehow, as long as I stop these impulse buys. Oh well always good to have spares.
  7. I've never used JapanRabbit. I was suggested it myself as you can set custom value, I've just bitten the bullet and used buyee as of now. If I keep up buying like I am now I'll try them out. Custom fees are killer, we pay at or over $20
  8. Them being war model makes me wary. Pocket depth is an issue in war models i've found. I'm looking forward to getting the Amami Mud-dyed pair
  9. I wish pocket depth was included in the measurements. I avoid war models for thos reason alone.
  10. What options are there? You can stay silent and enable the behaviour. Speak up and start a fight, though not all are strong enough to do this. Better to just go LC or NC. East/West shouldn't matter. Learn to behave. The decline is the celebration of the troll and that's a global issue
  11. Yeah I'm not a fan of cinch backs either and won't even consider a pair that has them. Exposed back rivets are another thing I'm not a fan of.
  12. Last few chances to stock up on Samurai before they drastically raise prices for all international sales and make it even harder to proxy stuff.
  13. Physically trying them on is the only point I can reasonably see. Even then that doesn't justify the markup, so I'd never buy locally and just proxy what I can. 2025 will be interesting with brands like Samurai doing all they can to limit that, hoping to leave us with the only option of paying more.
  14. My bad. I must of missed that. It's nice to try all that's new but there's comfort finding that perfect pair.
  15. Do people not ever own multiple of the same pair or does no one list it? Just wondering as every post I see never has repeats.
  16. I struggle to find sympathy for people like this. These jeans aren't cheap, specially with the international markup, so why not do even the basic of research. If you're that rich where you can drop that much then IMHO you're rich enough to live with your mistakes from your own ignorance.
  17. Yeah it's very reasonable for any non denim head to consider leg twist a flaw but it's not that reasonable to one to spend $1k on 3 pairs of jeans. One is clearly not buying normal Levi's one finds in any store, so it's on them to know what they are buying. Maybe it's just me but if I was considering buying a pair of Levi's that cost 3x a basic pair I'd spend just a little time learning about them
  18. Soda does tend to do that. I'm sure someone told him he's an idiot before. Sadly this doesn't seem to stop them from being stupider and even worse they just have to call attention to it.
  19. I think I have all that digitally. Sadly no more CD ripper 😭 Its been at least a decade since I've had physical media
  20. I just took a pair in to be hemmed. I'll let you know if I have any issues, though I'll be avoiding washing in hot if I can help it
  21. Yeah I've had that before due to a storm or something. Not sure what that would entail at LAX but I've seen it happen for other locations. Days of no movement is when you should start to be concerned
