  1. FWIW, I have both freedom sleeve and set in sleeve models of this in size L and the sleeves fit about the same on each in my opinion. I roll the cuffed part up on each. Overall, it seems the body of the freedom sleeve ones fits a bit shorter and the neck hole is a bit wider.
  2. To clarify i meant >50 usd shipping for one magazine seems a bit out of line, the price of the item seems fair based on other sources.
  3. Does anyone know of any online repositories of Lightning magazine? In particular, looking for the Vintage Sweatshirts one, and after some searching did not find much. Sorry if this isn't okay to ask for here, can definitely remove if needed. I found the following site (https://wclub-lightning.com/collections/reissue-lightning-archives/products/lightning-archives-vintage-sweat-shirts-reprint), but the shipping to the US is wild. For one magazine, it would be more than $50 USD. Thanks!
  4. Haha, makes sense! The bar cap is cool for sure.
  5. did I read it wrong, or are the rises on these super small, <9 in.?
  6. Highly recommend Sey out of Brooklyn based on what you mention. Always super good light roast stuff; got a washed Ethiopian from the subscription last month and it's been great, as is everything I've had from there. Not sure if there would be interest/if allowed, but a coffee exchange could be fun. I could try to set it up if there is some interest.
  7. Nice! Great way to brew, quick, easy to clean, lots of ways to do it. Some cool attachments too (like the Prismo for making something close to espresso).
  8. Those glasses are awesome!
  9. Noted! I've washed and dried this one, so the shrink is out. Def appreciate the feedback from everyone, still learning!
  10. Appreciate the comment, definitely a valid point!
  11. Putting in a good word for McFly store (hope this is appropriate here, sorry if not). Bought from them earlier this year and just again the other day. Messaged the owner, Keiichi, around 1145pm EST both times. He responded within 30 min and we were able to go back and forth on a few questions right away that night, leading to payment and shipping label within an hour. He seems very nice as well!

    Denime

Some more recon on the Denime Lot 224 '66. Bought size 36/30. Pre-wash: Waist - 19" || Thigh - 13" || Front Rise - 12.25" || Hem: 9" || Inseam: 32" Post soak and wash on machine "Warm" (supposedly 80-85 deg. F, machine does not have a more granular temp. setting) Waist - 18" || Thigh - 13" || Front Rise - 11.5" || Hem: 8.5" || Inseam: 31" After full air dry on clothes rack, wash with machine "Hot" (supposedly 101-115 deg. F, machine does not have a more granular temp. setting) Waist - 17.75" || Thigh - 13" || Front Rise - 11.25" || Hem: 8.5" || Inseam: 30.5" Before soak/wash: After hot wash: Overall, the shrinkage was a bit less than I would have guessed (maybe should have sized down?, but wanted to be safe). I feel like they fit decent in the butt, but are definitely baggier in the front. I definitely want to get the hemmed and hope that can help the look a bit.
  13. First one of these, forgive the absolute mess and dirty mirror, been a hectic time getting ready for the holidays! Sweatshirt - Freewheelers / Power Wear Jeans - Oni Curious on thoughts about the length of the sweatshirt (Ik vintage style should be shorter and like the vibe overall). I know the jeans I'm wearing don't have a super high rise, so that can affect things.
