SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)
jeash90 replied to minya's topic in superdenim
Same here, a bit slow to respond to emails (sometimes more than a day; really not that slow in reality, but perhaps compared to some other places), but overall shipping/handling was fast. -
Nice fit! Whats the lot #/model on those chinos?

SUPERDENIM SMALL QUESTIONS THREAD (Use instead of making new threads)

Just got my first pair of unsanforized denim in the mail today, Denime Lot 224. I have been reading a bit on here/reddit about washing them and am wondering what opinions are on best practices. They are quite big, so I am looking for the advertised 2-2.5" shrinkage in waist etc. Should I soak in hot water and then cold wash, or just hot wash right away? If I soak, how long would you recommend? Thanks in advance! Also, sorry I know there isn't one answer for this question and there are posts in the archives here for sure, just curious what current thoughts are. -
Great song! I watched the Joe Strummer documentary a couple weeks ago, not sure if you saw it/your take on that, but I thought it was kind of funny how they didn't show any of the interviewees names when they were talking, made for kind of a fun game to see how many you can get, but also kind of annoying.

Anyone trying to sell a pair of chinos? 34-36 in waist, straight leg or tapered, not super wide/baggy. Let me know, thanks!
-
@Mtvare, thanks for the response and good to hear! I know the measurements are available and all, but would you say it fits TTS, albeit kind of baggy so you could wear a sweater underneath, or would you recommend sizing up?
-
@Double 0 Soul, had not heard of this guy before, but this is cool!

Anyone have/had the buzz rickson m-65? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on it compared to the RMC one given the price difference. Thanks!
-
@Alec Leamas, no worries, hope you had a good trip and thanks for the follow up! I appreciate the measurements and hope to follow up in here if I get some.

@AlientoyWorkmachine, solid! I've heard good things about it! I went with the Gaggia classic pro and have enjoyed it so far.
-
@Alec Leamas, these look great! Bears says shrinkage is about 5-6cm in the waist and 6-7cm in the inseam. Did that seem to be on par with the shrinkage you experienced if measured?

@AlientoyWorkmachine, what's your espresso set up?

SOLD I have two loopwheel sweatshirts on ebay, one NWOT, the other worn a few times. See details below (measurements and more pics provided on ebay)/let me know if you are interested in either. I know I don't have a ton of rep. on here yet, but my ebay feedback is solid FWIW and willing to chat if wanted. Flexible on price. Thanks! --John Deluxeware Crewneck Grey and Beige Size L.
