  1. Maaaaaybe. I don't think I have any raw, unworn pairs and I'm not sure what I'd enter with. I could roll a pair of FC 1103s or TCB 50s slim-T. My days of going for high contrast, rough denim fades are behind me, so it'd have to be a comfy pair lol.

  2. I'd say they fit pretty TTS in the waist. My true waist is generally 30.5-31", and a size 31 in Lot 221 fits with a little bit of room after a two hot washes and a run through the dryer.

Apologies for the dusty mirror/bare feet, but here's a couple shots of my 33x33 710's. About 8 months of semi-daily wear with a few break periods while I wore in some other pairs. They've been washed about every 7-10 (lol) wears since I got them, and been through the dryer once, only on their most recent wash. Ordered my dad a pair of these and gave them to him yesterday for Father's Day. It was fun telling him how they are a '66 replica since that's the year he was born. Giving the gift of nice denim is so gratifying.

  4. @tooth My 220 and 221 pairs are both slightly too big in the waist still, so I followed your lead and just gave them both a long, hot soak and running through a tumble dry. Provided that this shrinks them to where I'm happy with the fit overall, I'll try to get some photos of both pairs up today.

  5. I've received orders in my mailbox from BEARS in as little as 3 days from the time I placed the order, and at most it's taken about 2 weeks (but that can be blamed on EMS/USPS). They almost always ship the order within a day of placing it. Recently ordered a pair of 710s for my dad for Father's Day, and the size was temporarily sold out and they let me know the same day. They told me it'd be in stock within a week, and they shipped it as soon as they got them in. Great service from BEARS, always.

  6. I bought them one-wash, but they did stretch a bit in the waist and are comfortable now. I think what I also didn't consider when I bought this pair was the lower rise, meaning they sit at/below my hips which made the smaller waist even tighter at first. Depending on the cut you are interested in, this may not be an issue for you at all.

  7. Yeah, they feel mid-high rise, and as I've been wearing them all day, the rise relaxes a bit once they start to crease. Overall, very happy with them, and they filled a unique fit-void in my closet since they are close to TCB 60s fitwise, but higher rise and darker denim.

I'm saying right now I will not buy the 66 when it is released, but knowing myself the pre-FOMO will kick in when I get the email and I'll cave lmao

  8. I wish the front and back rise were each about 1.5cm lower, but otherwise they are a great cut. Took two hot washes to get them shrunken enough to fit, and I'm sure a run through the dryer could get a bit more out of them. The inseam is still at about 32.75".

  9. I have a pair of the older model 1108 (13.7oz denim with back pocket arcs) that is the slim straight, and my 1108xx is the newer cut with a little more room in the top block and thigh. I like 'em both for different fit purposes, but the newer 1108xx gets the most wear. I don't mind the pocket bags being on the smaller side since I never keep things in them, personally.

  10. Quickest shipping from Bears I've had yet, delivered today only two days after the order was picked up. Just ran them through a super hot, long machine wash and letting them air dry. I've wanted a 60s cut from Warehouse for a while, so this ticks two boxes for me :D

  11. Ordered a size 31 from Bears over the weekend. I have the old Kyoto's, but this will be my first 60s Denime otherwise.

  12. 3009 is definitely a bit lower in the front rise than you're looking for, I'd say they are mid almost bordering on low. 3004 is probably closer to what you're looking for.

  13. Really, really nice in an unspectacular way is exactly how I'd describe Resolute, too. After wasting too much money on poor fits and buying into hype, it's really one of only a handful of brands I'd repeatedly buy from.

Fwiw, I think both pairs you posted fit you well @bloom! Funny  we both post in this thread, since I was wondering who took the username I use everywhere else when I signed up here lmao :laugh2:

Ordered my dad a pair of 710s in advance for Father's Day, and just took some shots of my daily driver pair next to the new. Fun to see the evolution side-by-side in person.
