  1. I love the fit of the 221. They kind of feel like a slighty slimmer TCB 60s with a higher rise. The denim is so nice, too, and fades quickly like the 220.

Thanks. Which means I have to size according to the 5-6cm shrinkage.

Yep! But as @beautiful_FrEaK also noted, they will probably stretch a bit in the waist between washes. Depending on the fit, could be up to an inch. I went up one size from my true waist, so mine don't stretch much.

Does the 221 shrink the same amount as the 220a in the waist? Manufacturer notes shrinkage at about 5-6 cm on the waist but I have seen 221 to shrink just 2cm on the waist after a one wash. Will they shrink further towards 5-6cm with subsequent washes?

I found both my 220 and 221 to take a few washes and some dryer time to get the full 5-6cm shrink They'll get there, eventually.

@blooming, what does the waist measure?

I'll grab that in a sec, but the chart showed 76cm, which is my usual waist size, especially for a high rise. I haven't gained any weight (in fact, down a few pounds), so they have to measure at least an inch or two smaller.

Has anyone pre-ordered the new run of Baker Pants?

Yes, and I received them about 2 weeks ago. I ordered a size small based on measurements, but they seem to fit quite a bit smaller in the waist than the chart indicates. Debating selling them off or just seeing if they will stretch.

Hej Lot.221 owners, are your pairs also fading that quickly like the Lot.220?

On another note, I might put my 220 in the dryer next time as I can spare some inseam length :D

They've gotten less wear than my 220, but they do seem to be picking up fades pretty quickly. I've put both my 220 and 221 pairs in the dryer at this point. They barely lost any rigidity and I got the right amount of shrink out of them, especially in the waist.

Does anyone here have any experience with FC's black denim?

I have the 1108 in black/black. It's pretty much their 13.7oz denim but with the weft and warp dyed black.

Interesting though, strong leftward leg twist on the right leg. I've never seen that on another pair. Looks like a reverse image of my other 1108s. It's not LHT.

I didn't see anything thru S+S, but if I'm buying something I can't return anyways I'll usually try to get it from Japan. I'd love to visit them in person to try things on but their return policy (or lack thereof) sends me straight overseas for online stuff.

They had the pre-order page up for a few days and took it down. They also claim to offer a size-exchange on Ooe pre-orders if they don't fit, which makes me feel better.

  9. Placed my pre-order for the SOA03XXD-0823 in size 32. First Ooe pair, first WW2 pair. I was getting so ready to grab the Full Count 0105 WW2 or the TCB S40s, but I don't wanna miss out on another batch of Ooe going to S&S.

First pair of TCB's with the 50s denim, the 50s Slim T. Pretty much zero break-in period and they are comfortable from the first wear. I was stuck between Full Count 1103 or these. Chose the TCBs because the fit looked a little cleaner with the mid-rise and a little more trim through the thighs. They seem like a very "adult" slim taper and look great with my chelsea boots or sneakers. I went with size 31, same as my TCB 60s. Pretty similar top-block measurements aside from the rise and maybe slightly slimmer thighs on these.

  11. Yeah, the taper is really mild, which is a huge plus for me. I only say mid-low rise for how it fits on me, I have really high hips and long legs :laugh2:

  12. I recently picked up a pair of the newer 50s Slim T. They are my second pair of TCB's, my other being the 60s. The 50s denim is really nice and the cut is really nice, more of a relaxed tapered cut with a mid-low rise. I'll grab some photos soon.

  13. Unfortunate, but glad to hear you got it back! Random pieces of my clothing have gone missing after nights out and I've always just assumed I lost them/left them somewhere, but this makes me think. I love my ISC shirt and I would be so sad if it went missing.
