🤣 excellent Edit: how do you find it fits compared to other TCB jackets, if you have any reference?
-
I have a 30's jacket on pre-order and seeing how yours are fading brings me a lot of joy @Sympathy-For-The-Denim

Generally their jeans are pretty TTS. I went for 32 in my 400T, and the waist measured about 31.5" when new/one-wash. From the looks of it, their WW2 jeans are cut pretty generously. I don't own any jackets from them, but the flannel and traveling shirt, both size 3, are pretty roomy as well compared to most other Japanese size L pieces I have from other brands.

Solid fit @gmn. 1101 is such an easy cut to get the sizing right, since they'll look good on most people across a few sizes.
-
The rise is definitely a bit shallower on my size 33 Kyoto vs my 710s in 33. I wouldn't put it into a low rise territory, but that's probably the biggest (and only) area where they different in terms of fit.
-
Mine are at the tailor getting hemmed. I plan on putting them back into my rotation once they are home.
-
Perfect slim fit. Definitely giving the Ivy vibe. Been in my 220s for the last couple of days, really rewarding denim once you start wearing it in.

https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/japan/en/auction/yahoo/input/k147072084/ One-wash w/ tags Type-1 Orizzonti-era jacket. Not in the market for any more jackets, but wow.

Nice! My Kyotos are actually 33x32 and fit almost exactly the same as my Resolute 710 33x33 aside from a shorter front and back rise. Those appear to have less wear than my pair did when I bought them, so you'll have fun fading them.
-
They did ask me (politely) not to touch any of the jeans on the shelf until they could help me, so I think they possibly take their sales approach very seriously, lol.
-
Do you mean that they would have denied your purchase at the FC store? They seemed pretty enthusiastic about selling me stuff when I was there, although I only purchased a thermal top.

400 fades looking nice in the sunlight, some roping/hem detail shots. I love how loosely they did the chainstitching on the hem,
-
@NilsLW nice fit! I wear the same size as you and they fit me exactly the same. You almost forget the inseam is shorter than others once you've worn them for a bit. Makes them really easy to wear with different types of shoes too, boots, sneakers, oxfords etc.

@kiya Curious about the SD-101, is it a newer version of the existing SD-101 cut?

Those look amazing @Jared_Lee. Sitting here in my 1101s in the same denim a couple of months in, and hoping they turn out similarly.

I think the 710 is the best cut out of the 60s style. 221 is kinda weird and I don't really love it on me. 224 is nice but as @beautiful_FrEaK stated, they have slightly weird proportions in the top block. 710 is just comfy all around and multiple sizes fit me correctly in different ways. Clear winner. If I had to pick an overall favorite out of the current Resolute/Denime offerings, 220 gets my vote for best fabric and best fit.

I'm 183cm/73kg and wear 32x32 for 711. I have faily long legs/high hips and the lower rise is still fine without a belt, as @beautiful_FrEaK said.

How many pairs of jeans do you own?

Definitely need to unload a few pairs I'm unlikely to wear. -
They look great, though. I also find the fit to be on the slimmer side compared to what I was expecting.
-
They are next up in my daily rotation so I’ll grab a pic or two tomorrow. They are probably my best fitting 50s XX cut, when compared to my Denime XX (31) and my FC 0105 (old cut, size 30).
-
400T. 5 months of wear, 2 washes, first wash wasn't until after 3 months and felt necessary after 2 weeks of daily wear travelling throughout SE Asia. These get 3-4 days of wear per week at least, and were the only pair of jeans I wore from mid-January until maybe a month ago. Other than my Warehouse 800xx, these are the quickest fading pair I've worn, and the surprising amount of vertical fading is a nice addition. Excited to see how they'll look after I hit the 1-year mark.
