Been looking for one of these in a good nick for a long time... and finally, the day has come. I was mounting up to go the proxy route and go for the Archives one, but this ticks the box for me.

Lee 101-J from what i assume is the late 60s/early 70s. Interesting how it has the "MR" on the chest pocket and not on the label, as i've seen on some. 

If you get the size right, these jacket fit like an absolute glove, i have to say.

tbh @ColdsnapBryan, it's been so long since it was raw that i barely remember, though i would like to think it was pretty hairy initially!

...Had a sneaking suspicion you'd come to the rescue @Dr_Heech!  Thanks a lot. Any idea about how jackets from this time are made and also fit? I think it looks pretty cool in all black but if it fits badly i'd rather pass on it. 

Looking to ID the age of this jacket - not familiar with this label or the potential origin? Sadly, these are the only pictures i have of it. Anybody got a clue?

I've had this 147J for quite some time now. Fell like i wanted to get rid of it for a while and it's just been sitting in the closet for a long time. Man, I'm i glad i came to my senses and didn't sell this jacket. Such an amazing jacket.

I'm selling a beautiful example of a 70s small e type III. Sadly it isn't my size.

Lovely light wash and barely any wear.

What is the consensus on LVC '44 repros from around 2003? Which i am supposing is from either San Antonio or Valencia Street? @Dr_Heech, would you happen to have any experience with a pair from  this era?

Latest pickup - Amazing what you can find if you are willing to sift through page after page of trash.  Late 60s with the symmetrical V tab. Really nice face to it and plenty of life left. Quite nice, but a bit too small. In between 40 and 42. If anybody has any interest in it, feel free to DM me. 

Here it is after a wash. It was just getting to dirty and crusty. 40 degrees and no shrinkage. Lovely colour. Really love this jacket. Can’t flip the last photo…

Not jeans, but too fugly not to share. “Trucker” jacket tucked in. Now I’ve seen it all. I ventured on to the Levi’s website for the first time in ages… I think this says it all about what Levi’s has become these days. And the LVC section is just a joke…

Another jacket that i am considering parting with is this rather immaculate 70505-0317 Big E. No wear, tear og repair. Near perfect stitch integrity. 

524 buttons, black bartacks under that flaps. Likely a late 60s/early 70s. As good as new. 

Measures 59 cm p2p, 56,5 cm back w/o collar. 

Any ideas regarding worth in todays market?

Will post more photos tomorrow for preservation and documentation. 

Thanks @Dr_Heech for giving me a reference. From what I'm seeing, the market has really become sort of a bubble - I can't even find Type IIIs without the price being way too high and in poor condition. I can't help but laugh at that 4400 $ price. Would ebay be the best place for me to sell it?

A little backstory - back in 2016 I was really fortunate to get this one in deadstock condition. It was my first vintage piece and I was really over the moon since I got to be the one who could be the first wearer of this jacket. I knew that it would be worth more deadstock, but I didn’t care - they were made to be worn after all. Here are some pictures before, during and after the first soak.

This 557xx never gots worn because it’s a tad too big for me. And since I got my size 46 transition, I don’t I’ll ever use it. I think it has excellent seam integrity, cuffs needs a small repair, no big deal. “O” buttons. 557xx label, so I’d say it’s a second gen jacket after the “Every garment guaranteed” one.

How much would a jacket like this be worth?

Saw these in VMCs instagram. The most faded I’ve seen of the jacket yet. I think it looks amazing. The hue really shows off an authentic vintage denim Colour to my eye. Reminds me a bit of my 557s.

Tried to capture some of the patina on my @Duke Mantee belt. Really hard to get the lighting right to make it really show. Couldn’t be happier with it. Maybe besides losing weight and the possibility of having it shorted soon, haha.
