  1. Thanks for the heads up, man. I see they got the 1108 in 27 and 29 for cheap!! Someone needs to pick those up. I already have a pair of 1101 and I think I want my next pair of Fullcount to be the 1953 cut. The search continues... (though honestly real life has been keeping me really busy lately so I haven’t really looked that hard)

  2. Where did you work, Broark? I kind of assumed Stag since its the only place I know of in town that sells nice denim. I've popped into the Domain location and the people there always notice what I've got on. Typically Fullcount, TCB, Eternal or something.

  3. @Maio if the waist/rise fits well then I think a simple hem would make your 50s look much much better. A short, trim cuff can do a lot to make the silhouette go from bagginess to a classic straight. The fabric will just drape differently. My 50s also shrank over time. This may also just be me but I like extra fabric in the thigh area. I never have any due to my thunder things which means I never get the long diagonal fades along the thigh. If you're unaccustomed to the wider fit, just think instead about the splendid fades you’ll be able to get because of it!

  4. Whitesville tees came in yesterday. Sized up to medium and glad I did! I think the small would have been much too short. I'm 5'5'' and 140 lbs, would say I have a short but athletic build.
    Measurements for those interested:
    Pre-soak

    Shoulder 17
    Chest 19.5
    Length 27
    Sleeve 7.8

After cold wash and tumble dry

    Shoulder 16
    Chest 19
    Sleeve 7
    Length 23

I have broad chest/shoulders which makes the shirt drape loosely around the rest of my body since the shape is cut short and boxy.

  5. @Niro Sorry, finally got a hold of my measuring tape. Better late than never!

Hinoya x Warehouse 1003HXX sz 29 post soak

waist 15.5 (These jeans are very forgiving in the top block, too much so for me)
    front rise 11.5
    back rise 15.5
    thigh 11.25
    opening 8 inches

  6. Scored a pair of 2nd hand Warehouse 1001xx so thought I'd share some [mediocre iphone] pics. In real life the denim has this almost dirty/green-cast look to it... interesting if this is indeed the banner denim. Anyone have a clue if it is? If it helps, it is definitely lighter weight than my Warehouse x Hinoya 1003HXX, the only other pair of Warehouse I own. My best guess is this pair is from 2004 from the patch and the flasher. The tab has "GENUS" on only one side.

  7. Scored a pair of vintage made in Ireland Clark Wallabees so I thought I'd throw up some comparison pics against my run-of-the-mill pair.

The crepe is much stiffer on the Ireland pair, the one on the left, though I can't tell if its a product of age. I upgraded the laces on the pair on the right, the original laces were terrible. The Ireland pair's laces are elastic which is interesting. The leather on the Ireland pair actually seems a little thinner but in terms of quality/aesthetics the clear winner is Ireland. My pair was made in Vietnam though many others are made in China. The Chinese pairs also come with leather trim around the ankle.

Can anyone help me decide which size to get for the Whitesville tee 2 pack? https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.clever-id.com%2Fhtm%2Fwhitesville%2Fsst%2F14%2Fwv73544.html

I'm 5 ft 6 (167 cm) and 135 pounds (61 kg). I measured shirts I like and it seems like I should go for a medium to account for shrinkage. But what throws me off are all the Rakuten models wearing M. They're all much taller and heavier than I am. For example:

How is this guy that much bigger than I am yet he's still wearing a medium (with the shirt looking somewhat loose)?! Granted he's wearing a non-wash shirt but still. Iron Horse hit my ideal t-shirt fit right on the nail-- nice and snug.

Anyone with shrinking horror stories want to persuade me to get a medium? Or should I take that moon shot at the perfect fit and go small?
