Nice! The second to last picture really shows the difference well.
Any differences in terms of construction/details worth noting?

@bartlebyyphonics: I try to get some kind of comparison between the CSF M47 and the LVC 47 later today or the next days. Hopefully with good pictures!
Very excited to see this comparison.

Also, isn't Huston supposed to be making denim soon?

It really isn't all that surprising, unfortunately. It will be interesting where all the 'me too' denim brands as well as others like Roy will get their denim.

I’m over ten months.
It sucks. Realistically, if the next ten orders pay to be rushed, our wait times can be extended indefinitely.
Yeah not supporting this brand anymore that's for sure.

nice...I didn't know konoka will pre-wash the denim. I though most of his denims are of non wash status.
He has it at his store. It was very convenient for me because I was able to try on and really make sure that both the jeans and jacket fit in person first. I actually sized up on both as a result so I'm VERY happy about that.
@bartlebyyphonics @Niro thanks guys! I appreciate it

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to post some fit pics of the new 37s.
I know that the cuffs are absolutely awful. I fixed them after the pics were taken
Measurement comparisons: Both are size 36 and both have been hemmed by Konaka-San himself (this is something I am very adamant about for these jeans only) However, the WWII were pre-washed by him and the 37's were hot soaked by me for an hour. That could certainly mess with the measurements.
WWII San Francisco
Waist:17.5"
Front Rise: 13.75"
Rear Rise: 16.5"
Thigh: 13"
Knee: 10.5"
Hem (right above the cuff): 8.8"
1937:
Waist: 17.5"
Front Rise: 12.75"
Rear Rise: 16"
Thigh: 12.75"
Knee: 10.25"
Hem (right above the cuff): 9"
The differences are rather minor in terms of fit. The 37, at least in my experience, is lower-rise, slimmer, yet has less taper. As of right now, I prefer the 37 simply because it is more comfortable for me to wear as of right now. I'll be able to draw more of a conclusion after I wear both of them more. I hope this helps!

Great comparison pics! And hopefully the fire isn't too bad!
Thanks! I'll hopefully be able to do more. I'll at least do a fit pic comparison of some kind.
Over 1,000 homes were evacuated. I'm not all the close to the actual fire, but it is much worse than first thought.

Payment sent! In with my Conners Sewing Factory 1937. I know I have absolutely ZERO chance of winning, but I'm really just doing this to give CSF more attention

And this is why the second day pictures are so much worse...
Welcome to sunny Socal!!!

I received my CSF 37's in time for my birthday this year. Konaka-San was able to get them done a couple of weeks earlier than he said he would, which is great.
Like my WWII San Francisco jeans, they are size 36. He said that they would fit larger than the WWII's, but I haven't noticed that. They are slightly less tapered, but the rise is lower and they don't seem to be all that much looser. The waist measurement is pretty much the same.
A big plus is that they are more comfortable. Something about the rise on the WWII's makes them uncomfortable at times, but these are perfect right from the first soak.
Of course, the denim and details are different as well. This denim is lighter in weight, but appears to be darker in color. It is also less hairy and a little more even as well. There is a crotch rivet, pocket rivets, and plain, flat hidden rivets on these as well as a cinch back. In addition, the stitching is much cleaner overall, though the jeans still have that incredible handmade Conner's feel that I adore. Comparing the differences between these is a lot of fun and it makes me want to own a 46 second half or a 47 in order compare further differences in denim and other details.
For now, however. These are my jeans for the DWC. I could not be happier with these.
First pics are of the jeans unwashed and brand new.
Post-soak pics: These are not as good as the pre-soak pics due to a massive fire nearby.

It's the standard loopwheeled one, not the suvin gold though I must say that looks top notch. Would be interested in your view on the sizing and washing of the suvin dudewuttheheck. Cheers.
Haven't washed mine yet, but the Self Edge measurements are pretty accurate in my experience. It's an incredible piece. I love it.

I've got my eye on an SDA loopwheel sweatshirt. Has anyone got one to give a view on how they fit and how they size after washing?
I'm L in RMC loopwheeled for a snug fit. The SDA sizing varies depending on the retailer from the retailers I've looked at.
All guidance appreciated! Thanks.
Which one are you going for specifically? I own the suvin gold one so I can comment on that one, but no others.

Whats the loosest fit if them all?
Ww2
1946 first
1946 2nd
1947?
It depends on which WWII, I read that San Jose is a little slimmer than San Francisco... I know that at least one of the WWII is slimmer than the others.
I just ordered the 37's and Konaka-San says that those are definitely looser than the WWII if you want to look at those.

@dudewuttheheck - What denim are you wearing in the first pic? Interesting cast & texture...
Those are the Leroy tour jeans. I have no idea where the denim is actually from unfortunately.

I don't know what that means
I believe that the lad is insinuating that your appearance in that photograph gives the impression that you partake in the hooligan activity known as 'skateboarding' and have sufficient skill such that you are able to perform the maneuver known as a 'slash grind' in which you ride your skateboard up the wall of an empty swimming pool and position the 'trucks' of your skateboard onto the lip of the pool and 'grind' your trucks against the lip of the pool.
Anyway, here are some recent pics
Himel jacket, Ooe Yofukuten shirt, Leroy jeans, John Lofgren boots
RMC A2 and henley, Conner's Sewing Factory jeans, Clinch boots
Conner's Sewing Factory jacket, Masterson's shirt, Hollows belt, Roy all ducks, Clinch boots

Got another pair of M-46 s409xxx going for the second half this time but im getting olive herringbone pocket bags to replicate this pair of vintage 1946 501xx from marvins vintage
Originally i was going to order a pair of M-37 but the more i thought about it i realised im not really a cinch back man , while i appreciate a good 30's 501xx as much as the next vintage lover its the 1940's that is my favourite era
Nice! I'm trying to get a pair of the M-37 because Cinch backs make me feel a certain special kind of way

What are those shirt pockets for?
They fit a phone quite nicely. They aren't actually curved either. The stitching is just curved.

If the denim is even close to how good the shirt fabrics are, I will have a pair from whoever gets his fabric!
