I agree with @EdwardBear, the Fullcount arcs are my absolute favorite of the repro brands. But whichever way you go, don't get too attached, those arcs definitely don't last long . I'm 4 months in on my 1108EX and the majority of my wallet pocket is now arc-less.

My two cents is to definitely not tailor your waist size to fit your desire for smaller leg opening. If it's too small raw, you're going to end up with pants you can't fit into that have an awesome leg opening size...

I think the warmth difference between 13 and 15oz is going to be fairly negligible. Just get whichever one you like better . Personally, a denim jacket of any sort wont keep me warm through our cold winters, for me it's a fall/spring thing. That will depend on where you live of course.

Man, I really don't dig those distressed clothes they have in that set. I mean, the heavily washed versions look fine, just not my cup o' joe but the ones with the fake dirt stains and stuff? I mean come on. Also, I can't read the writing on the page but why are they comparing Dennis Hopper in a Lee 101J to the Type III they're selling....

Bitching aside, those shorts look pretty nice. Enjoy them!

Here's the comparison shot of the EX fabric (top) to Samurai's 21oz VX (bottom) and an Iron Heart 18oz (middle). I'm no goodat getting the lighting right for a proper picture but you can kinda see the gray cast compared to the much bluer cast of the Samura vs. the nearly black Iron Heart.

@Max Power thanks man! I'm gonna bank on them loosening up more. How are yours coming b_F? How's the stretch on the EX comparing to the standard denim? When I get some natural light I'll try taking a pic of the EX compared to some other denims to show that gray cast.
