  1. I snatched up a pair of 1108EX. I ended up getting a size 30, 2 size down from TTS due to the high waist measurements on the Fullcounts. I have given them a warm wash to get the shrink out. I've got to say the denim is very interesting, almost a slate color when side by side with my samurais. Very hairy and super crunchy after initial wash. Buttoning them for the first time was a breeze after dealing with heavier denims. After one day of wear the waist has loosened up to feel perfect. The thighs seem to be the limiting factor in this fit. I'm concerned they are borderline too tight. Right now they slightly limit my movement, ie. unable to raise my knee past my waist. Think I'll get much stretch in the thigh department? From the initial measurements I didnt anticipate them being so tight in the thigh and yet loose in da ass. Here are some fit pics after a long bike ride to break em in. Quality is shite but you get the idea.

  2. @ryan123 Those look like they're the same material but one is a Work Shirt and one is a Western Shirt. Main differences there are pockets and yoke.and buttons (regular vs. snap). I think Westerns tend to be cut a little bit slimmer but I can't speak from experience w/ TFH because I only have workshirts of theirs.

  3. xpost from the Strike Gold thread

Bit of a plug for my Strike Gold workshirt in the marketplace... but this a cool 12oz denim shirt that they did about 4 years ago with contrast cat-eye buttons. Thought I'd throw it on here, don't see tons of shirts round these parts.

  5. This is a like new Strike Gold 12oz denim workshirt. Never washed, only worn a couple of times with no appreciable fading. The shirt is made of Japanese indigo-dyed 12oz red-selvedge denim. Love the details on this shirt and the material is real nice and heavy; unfortunately it is a touch too small for me. The SelfEdge pic (1st pic) below is most accurate for color, my photos are a bit washed out.

    Measurements are:

    p2p - 20.5"

    shoulders - 18.25"

    length - 28.5"

    sleeve length - 24.75"

Retailed for USD$275, asking $150 $130 $100 shipped INCONUS. International buyers pay shipping. Please message me with any questions.

  6. 2 washes so far. The washes really helped the vertical texture start coming out. I def dig the more vintage look to the ultra contrast some people like so I wash more often than some.

  7. got them back from hemming. they're snug right now after the hot soak but after a few weeks they should loosen up nicely. so pumped to see these guys age.

Great fit man! Blue Note is where I got my first Les Paul like 15 years ago while visiting Berkley! I got super excited when I saw this pic.

  8. A lot of the Japanese companies make slim jackets. My Flat Head type II is definetly pretty slim. As far as sizing... if you want to rock it with a hoodie get a larger size, if you want the t-shirt and very slim look go small. Honestly it's just how you like to style up your denim jacket.

In my opinion that Nudie jacket is loud as hell, I personally like the more classic style of a type II or type III. +1 to Bobbo, you can go from there and get whatever weight you like. I think Iron Heart and Samurai make some of the heaviest that I'm aware of.
