  1. Do we have shrinkage estimations? I've seen a couple posts but it would be nice to have somewhat of a consensus (even if we're guessing) on how shrink impacts each measurement.
  2. All sounds good to me, I'll drop y'all a DM soon once I decide on the sizing. Definitely will be the 411S model for me, looking forward to it. Also interested to see what the patch will look like!
  3. To be fair I was kind of voluntold to be a mod there with zero inside info as to what was actually happening.
  4. Starting to develop some decent contrast on the WWII jeans. Pictured here with a belt made by our very own Sir Duke.
  5. I guess that's what Ono-san has been up to for the last few months.
  6. Hell, I'd been considering buying the vest and I'm not a vest guy...so if I can try the denim out via another medium I will.
  7. Seconding Julian, FW sweats are my favorite in both the heavy weight and medium weight weaves.
  8. b_F are there any better quality images of the size charts available? I can kind of make out the numbers, but they look pretty blurry specifically the 611 chart (even when opening the image in a new tab). And doc I've got plenty of cinch back jeans so I think a cinchless '42 is a nice change of pace even if it might be somewhat sacrilegious.
  9. Deposit has been sent! Think I'll be going with the cinchless '42s.
  10. Same as @Jared_Lee, I generally prefer what Shinya weaves. Handled a lot of nice denim from them over the years. b_F since you have a pair using the RS1950-ROW denim, any early days comparisons to other denims you've handled? Assuming it is fairly breathable as well.
  11. His most recent post on IG has a few photos of these details: https://www.instagram.com/p/C-UuiGaoPre/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  12. Sounds good, I think I'm in for a '42ish model. Looking forward to info on the denim. Some lightweight denim pocket bags would be cool too.
  13. Bridge Of The Times is a one man brand run and operated by Masatoshi Takenaga. BoT was founded in 2020 and is located in the Hino district of the Tottori prefecture. BoT focuses on reproducing '47 jeans, specifically the 824XX T-47 model with a slew of vintage sewing machines ranging from the 1920's to 1960's. Additionally BoT has started branching out to offer a 506XX reproduction (the 806XX) as well as other limited cinchback model jeans. These can be seen on his Instagram feed. Currently these jeans are only available for purchase via two methods: actually visiting his shop in person to try them on for size, and domestically in Japan via Instagram during specified time slots. BoT is not currently offering international orders, but I am hoping to find a way to get a pair myself as his work seems quite good! There's not a lot of information out there about the brand since it is pretty new, so I thought I would start a thread to wrangle in the discussion in a dedicated place.
