Greetings from Germany!
I'm here again and I believe this the 10th trip to Germany for 2014. Here's a pic from tonight's venue, the beautiful Castle in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe.
Some place..
I wish I still had my camera with me, this room would have been an incredible place to take a photo with a fisheye lens.

good job Jared_Lee! even though I wear my pair at least 5 days a week, I've almost no whiskers on my pair so far. I should start biking. volvo driving doens't seem to fade as quickly ahaha!

nice post hoggy, bravo!
I love Tricker's, I only have one pair, a factory second William boot (has a barely visible discolouration of leather on one boot), which I bought for 150k italian lire (the equivalent of 75 eur now) back in 1999. these are the shoes that I always use the most during winter, very comfortable. they were resoled a couple times and they still look really good. here they areI'd love to grab a pair of Tricker Bourton's. in my dreams a pair of these as well

Does anyone know esquisseba?

It seems like a quite new brand, there are some nice fit pictures on IG but no fading samples.

Great updates by each ad every one!
Sugar Mountain I also enjoyed that book when I read it, ages ago. One of the best Murakami novels methinks.

Hoggy, ever tried Tricker's? I have too big wide feet and I find them to be the most comfortable shoe ever. Bit pricey but in the long run they're worth every penny, a true shoe that looks better with age. My pair it's getting into their 16th year of wear and still looks perfect.

It will take at least one more full month of dedicated wear to see some significant crocking and fading I believe. These are a bit slow at first but once they take off they're mighty! It took me six months of daily wear of the 50's jacket to start to see some relevant combing. Jeans are easier to fade than jackets though. I'll keep washing the jeans once a month or so, hope to get a nice balance between contrast and vintage fades.

Today myself and my happy jeans went to beautiful Bruges in Belgium to pay a visit to my friend Geert, a master craftsman, one of the best living makers of hystorical wood flutes. He's saving my work life by lending me for free all the gear I need and making me all the new equipment at a bargain sustainable price and with the shorter waiting time possible. God bless the Belgians!
Here's the man himself reaming away a prototype flute for me
Tools of the trade, a vintage reamer worth some serious €€€!
Flute orgy

Great updates Foxy! Welcome aboard! Shoot Inoue San an email or a Facebook message, I think he could sort you out with a patch of some sort (maybe not the contest patch).

Hi foxy hope you get them soon, look forward to your updates!
I am about to throw the "stovepipes" in the washing machine for their second wash, the turnups are really filthy of mud after the big rains we had here two weeks ago. Has anyone tried yet a 60 degrees wash? I am going for a 40 but I might consider 60 for next time just to get rid of more shrink.
