today my father in law brought me a set of old macro filters from the 70's.
I just tried them on my camera for a few TCB close up shots. Photos were taken with a mirrorless sony alpha 6000 on which I mounted a vintage sovietic Jupiter 9 85mm lens + the macro filter. not the most efficient set seen the current standards, but very funny to use though!
here we go
hidden rivet
wallet concho slowly and steadily diggin the hole in my backpocket
fabric close up, wanna dive into that blue!
coin pocket
patch
front button

for anyone interested double check the measurement before you pull the trigger, as Bronson runs quite snug. I had a 42 on the B10 and still was too tight. my chest is 40.5.
I should probably get a 44, with the risk of having the sleeves and the overall lenght too long.

They do look good. Out of curiosity, do you know what leathers they are using?
here's the link

maybe a chinese speaking could shed some light on it.
I notice my size is already sold out, so no more tempted!

Yeah Bronson is good quality. The B10 I had was really well made, unfortunately it was a bit too tight so I sold it. I'd love to try out that A1!

i still fuckin need a type 2 with short body like the vintage levis type 2
I am pretty sure that Inoue San could shorten his TCB type II model to suit your needs. if you look at his own fit pics on TCB blog you can clearly see that he has done it on his type II jacket/vest.

I settled for zombie boardgames and too many beers this weekend. Damn good fun actually, usually not that into boardgames but Zombiecide was a lot of fun. We ended up playing until 8 in the morning.
Definitely a game I recommend if you like boardgames, zombies or both.
you should go out in the snow and do some drifting on a pimped volvo 240 with a V8 engine, while drinking beers, come on Swede!

thank you I had a great one indeed, did a 8km long hike with my 11 kg daughter on a baby carrier, which put the TCB through its paces. I was totally f****d yesterday night!

I just gave it another wash too. I've lost count at this stage.
I went out for dinner at an Indian restaurant with the wife and daughter, I had my 9 months daughter to try some Indian daal and she spitted it over both my TCB jacket and jeans!
so I've washed both the jacket and pants (same fabric as you know). the jacket has now three washes and one solid year of wear, and it ended up with definitely more contrast than the pics I've post two weeks ago. the jeans are definitely starting to get the infamous daddystyle fades ahahah!

wonderful choice!
I'd be very interested to see your measurements, both pre and post soak. these are at the top of my wish list, and I'd need a 38 too.

Jaysus Mary and Joseph!
I do love Amazons 140 and 240's indeed. 240 are my favourite, they have a hippy chic vibe that I like, and also are one of the best youngtimer cars that still can be driven as a trusty dailydriver. I have both a 1980 244 sedan and a 1993 240 wagon (some people says the perfected version, last year ever made). If I could I would buy more 240's definitely, maybe a early series 242 like this
or a big bumper wagon, like this wonderful 1980 model year
and then an Amazon combi like the blue one from the museum for the weekend!

ahah what a woman that you have!
I my wife was half "volvo indulgent" as it's yours at this stage I would own a hangar with 13/14 volvos, plus a couple of saabs!
kidding apart, you started with one of the top of the range volvo vintage models. While the P1800 is an absolute masterpiece of design it's also considered to be one of the less swedish designs that Volvo ever made. In fact it ws designed by an Italian guy, Pietro Frua.
I'd go with one of the 100% swedish models, the Amazon, the 140 series or the 240 series.
all of these cars have wonderful motors which are very dependable and also very easy to work. I'd personally shy away from mechanic injection and look for a carburator model on either of these models. less of a headache, and more enjoyment.

my last thrift score, a vintage gordon tartan duffle coat.
Labelled Goodwood, made by Gloverall. Heavy, and bold!
Got it for a song, then brought it to the tailor for taking in the pit to pit measurements and shorten the arms, the tailor bill was higher than what I paid for it!
paired with TCB 50's and RW moctoes.

^ what he says, your pair shows dedication!

I'll take some proper shots in proper light with a proper camera without flash when I'm done
That sounds like a proper plan ahah! I can already tell you I'll like them more with dubbin!

That's a great fit ukeno, very balanced, not too tight and not too sloppy. I could definitely see them well also with a heftier cuff. Fair playing for going the road less travelled and trying something different!

That's a very fine fit Gnome. You do seem to get perfect fits on every kind of cut, lucky bastard!
I'd definitely look more into that cut for myself, though I will need a 38 on Ooe and probably the nice proportions you get and that nice taper will be fucked up on that big size.

Foxy, that p1800 on her native Swedish ground is such a fine sight for my eyes! Even more poetic than Maynard's sonnet!

Damn, this is a sweet discussion.
H, after Volvo talked me into buying a Napoletana I can only say sweet things about it!
The day I will talk you into buying a fine rear wheel drive Volvo I will consider my mission accomplished!

I can send you a can! Said the Cat in the Hat,
I can send it like this, I can send it like that,
I can send it by sea, I can send it by air,
But as long as you get it I don't think you'll care,
I can send it by air, I can send it by sea
And you'll soon be making delicious coffee!
Excellent Mr Friedman!
