Oh Frankie Frankie

Thanks Double 0. It should still be under warranty, just don’t want to deal with shipping it if it’s something simple I can fix... like a fuse. But if it was a fuse it wouldn’t power on I guess. Thanks for the help.

Last record listened to before my Rega amp stopped working. Vinyl reissue of original ROIR cassette released in 81. Two tracks recorded live at CBGB in 78...would have been something to see Alan and Martin on the lower east side back then.
Anyone familiar with Rega integrated amps? I’ve had mine for about two years, it just recently stopped working/(amplifying?). It still powers on just wont amp the speakers. Rega’s gear is high quality it shouldn’t be jacked up with just over 2 years use.
Great thread by the way.

@roomtemplacroix I like the look of those Lofgren M-43s. I’ve been eyeing them myself. How is the sizing compared to red wings?

@chambo2008 In the US, I’d say shitty beer is even a few steps down from Bud and Coors.

Thanks I actually wasn’t purposely buying each pair for the different denim. I was looking for a pair that fit right but I’m glad they’re all not the same Cone

Cool, thanks @Broark. I have the RN1, RS2, RN4, KS1001, and RT1002. They are all made with a different denim correct?

I don’t think I’ve ever had beer that wasn’t cold (not counting shitty parties where shitty beer is put in a bucket where there isn’t nearly enough ice). Given that the US is probably going to play permanent welcoming host to this virus, trying beers at the different temperatures might make for a fun past time at home.
Careful with that. My attempt at being a self made cicerone at home during lockdown has led to borderline alcoholism.

While we're on the subject, why on earth does the rest of the world think that folks from the UK drink warm beer? i'll happily drink cheap swill but never do i want it to be warm for goodness sake.. most cheap crap tastes great if it's served cold enough.
Maybe some beer-nerds can educate me
I agree. If it’s cold enough it’ll drink just fine no matter how cheap and or shitty the beer is.

I don’t see anything wrong there.
It perfectly fits in here. Guys wearing simplistically random low profile clothing that would never turn anyone’s back anywhere you go. Same style as a college student. Jeans, T-shirt’s, vans, work boots, caps....even if you are 50. I though that was the whole point. Easy and you don’t have to squeeze your brains deciding what to wear. I love it.Positive! +1 for the sarcasm haha (smiley face)

@81611 it was 00 giving someone some lighthearted trolling not a reflection on your post, keep on doing what you doing
All good fellas! Figured it’s best to be a bit humble being a forum noob. I’ll drink a cheap beer just as quick as craft and I’m a fan of all music especially doom/stoner. Just trying to have a little fun with the posts. Keep up the good work everyone.

Just trying to find common ground with you blokes other than the obvious enthusiasm for denim.

Oh. Sorry if my Primus sucks caused confusion. Fans of the band usually chant that at live shows. I do not think they suck. Melvin on the other hand...

@Spiraltoy Not sure if you like that type of doom metal music but I met some of your fellow countrymen before a show in Brooklyn several months ago. Nice guys, put on a good show too. Monolord...I think they’re from Gothenburg.

Thanks @SLAB I’m about 5’10 150. No plans to change sizes just curious how others wear them as I’ve never worn a ww2 cut.

Although I usually get these things wrong so maybe that shouldn't reassure you :-)
