  1. So the 1001XX in duck digger denim arrived yesterday. Must say I'm a bit surprised about the unevenness of the fabric. I thought it'd be more smooth but hell, I like it!

Don't really have time for some fitpics today, they're still raw anyway, but I took some quick snaps.

Now I'm just waiting for warmer weather.

  2. x-post from the main thread

So here's a more detailed update for the Steel Feathers. Lighting is crap so mind I've used a flash.

So far I think I've worn them about 6 months and I've lost track of how many washes aswell. I just wear and wash when I feel like they need it. As you can see in the picture I've also had to do some DIY-repairwork to prevent a hole. For being the first repair it feel alright, should look better when they've faded some more.

    Onto the pics:

    A little bit of roping

I also tried to capture a close-up off the denim. Wish I had a macro lens and some decent photoskills, but what the hell. This is from the front of the thigh:

  4. Tush's products looks amazing. If I was in a more stabile financial situation I would cop one right away.

By the way, I noticed you only have "raw" pics of Tush's products on your site. I suppose most of the Sufu-crowd knows about the proefficency of aging leather, I'd say it'd help you even further if you have a photo or two of a used sample aswell.

    Just a thought!

  5. The other day I took the jeans for a spin to Stockholm and the World Cup play-off game against Portugal. First time seeing our new national stadium Friends Arena. Almost 50 000 crazy Swedes hoping for a miracle and a broken leg or two on Ronaldo early in the game.

Well, the result turned to shit in the end just like my pictures. Zlatan made us see the shores of Brazil with two goals in 5 minutes but that doesn't really matter when Ronaldo scores another hat-trick. But it sure was an awsome night and I've never heard or felt anything quite like the atmosphere when Zlatan scored the freekick to turn the tides around.

  6. We talked about this a lot more in HDC round 1 - there were updated lists of contestants and those who didn't contribute, were disqualified (I hope I recall it correctly). I am glad, that this wasn't a topic here yet. let's keep it this way.

I do agree with this. Although I realise it is a competition and we've got loads of prices, I feel like the vibe is all about getting some nice stories to go with the jeans and build an even closer community. So far I'm just enjoying the ride and I plan on keeping it that way.
