Damn, I'm only gone over the weekend and there's tons of shit that's happened. With people being this stoked (and the Volvo-patch!) it's gonna be some good times.

A bit surprised there's no graphic designer here who have pounced on the possibility to design it.
I'm down with cats aswell.1 -
Awesome, I was looking at the same pair. What size are you? and how are they fitting?
Thanks man! I'm a 32 and went TTS. They're snug in the waist but except that, they're very comfortable. I posted some fitpics a few pages back.
Edit:
Garden gnome: Yeah like Maynard says the waist did budge for me aswell. Took some time but it was worth it.

I don't really have time for it today but I'll measure my jacket (now that it's been through a wash) and compare it to one of my shirts later this week.
Reverendglasseye: It took a little longer than expected but now I've got some measurements to show. Hopefully it helps.
My jacket (that was bought raw in size 40 and have seen one 40 degees wash):
Pit to pit: 54 cm
Sleeve: 60 cm
Shoulder to shoulder: 48 cm
Length: 64 cm
My Lofgren-shirt (size small, do mind that it's an old school shirt, fairly long and on the brink of being to tight over the chest and shoulders):
Pit-Pit: 51,25 cm
Sleeve: 61,25 cm
Shoulder: 44,5 cm
Body: 71,25 cm

Looking good mate. Loving my jacket aswell.
Any plans on washing it? I'm curious to see how the denim evolves.0 -
Holy hell, that's not a bad prize. Soon there'll be two TCB-tuxedos on the forum (unless Volvo wins).
Man up boys and join the crusade so we can get this started.

Time for a bump! I've been thinking of getting my hands on an A-2 jacket but don't really have the funds to go for a top of the line-repro one. So now I'm looking at my options. I came across this jacket of the belgian brand Quartermaster Inspector. Have anyone handled their jacket?
I also saw some mentions of Flightjacket.com being priceworthy. But what other good options are out there?
And finally, if I go one Ebay - which seems to be somewhat of an A-2 jungle with loads of different brands - what brands would you recommend keeping an eye out for?
Cheers guys!0 -
About the whole measuringdiscussion and the different measurements: are you guys using the same method? That could be a possible explaination.
I mean, we've just heard that Inoue didn't include the waistband when he measured the rise. Could be some more discrepancies either with how TCB measures or how anyone of us measure our jeans.0 -

It feels a bit crazy even to think about a denim wishlist when two pairs of Warehouse, 1001 and 1001xx in duck digger denim, moved in a few weeks back.
But well, Fullcount 1108XX is still in my head since last summer.
For the last few months I've been thinking of a pair with suspenderbuttons and cinchback for the summer heat. Hello Fullcount 1922WC!
Don't hesitate to pm if you've got other interesting options.

^ I get that. Felt the same way before I got my SDA. I got them for a nice change of pace and ended up a converted man: looser cuts are awsome.

Fuck it, let's do this. Some contestcheating is probably healthy.

^^They look fantastic man.

thanks Aho for clarifying ..
btw..may i ask is that the contest can custom made some odd size for example for small size like W27? and the patch on the denim is different from the standard TCB jeans?
Mate, you can find that info in the first post, in the first 6 lines of text. Don't be so lazy.

I don't really have time for it today but I'll measure my jacket (now that it's been through a wash) and compare it to one of my shirts later this week. I just posted some fitpics of the jacket on my blog so you can see it is a little big with just a tee. I could probably have sized down one.
Naoki-san is great to deal with. You won't be disappointed. + there aren't that many other shops carrying the raw one.

Well, I was lucky enough to already have a jean jacket that I could measure myself and get similar measurements for the SC11953. If you have a friends jacket that fit you well and you could measure?

Bobbo don't think about the HWDC and just join! updates from Volvolandia are needed here, and I have no doubt you won't regret getting a pair of TCB, they're f*****g good!
Haha! I'll probably cave in. If I'm not mistaken the measurements are quite alot like my Warehouse 1001's so the fit should be damn good.

Should be alot of fun! Like Hoggy I'm thinking (and hoping!) this could be the sequal to the Ooe contest, and that was awsome even watching from the sidelines.
But then again I'm still in HWDC. Need to convince myself I could and should double it up. I'm on the damn fence.2 -
Good stuff SLAB! That pic just sealed the deal on the SC jacket for me, been eyeing it the past week. How did you size it?

Since the Steel Feather-thread is locked I guess this is the best place to post this.
For those of you who don't follow Anders of Steel Feather on Instagram you might have missed a new roomier cut in 3 different denims is on its way. Thought I'd share the short little interview I did with Anders about it. I'm quite intrigued about it!

I went down to visit some old friends from my university in Linköping over the weekend. The biggest party of the year always takes place in may, an outdoor event with 3000 students going nuts right on campus. But first, the journey:
Waiting for the train to show up

Welcome to Linköping!
In Linköping almost every pub and club is located on the same street (right next to my out of focus thumb)
