If someone finds a vintage pair to copy, do they need to rip open the seams for measurements? Basically is the pair sacrificed for the sake of getting as accurate deets as possible? Or can they manage without sacrificing a pair? Maybe a stupid question but Ive always wondered about this

I have my first pair of Trickers on their way. Got a pair of Stow. Hopefully they'll fit.
did they arrive? hows the fit if so?

Hey MrSmiff, could I possibly pick my pair up in person when they arrive and have been sorted, seeing that I live 5 miles away? If it'll confuse things, no worries. Either way, pumped to get these, I have not had the opportunity to soak and smell new wet denim in a long time.

you did good then! Those Seiko's are pretty robust

So it's almost that time eh... maybe I should throw it in for a final wash before submission

Any of you guys can give advice on / have knowledge of watches? Considering getting into watches starting with a SKX007J?
a few months late but...I was trained as a watchmaker. I no longer practice but I can offer advice from a technical perspective if you want

where is Hoggreaser at? I just realized he should have been an honorary member in this contest due to the bad luck he had with Ooe.

thats black chromexcel. no pics that really show the evolution since new unfortunately

yea, I dont get that either. Its just like tires. treadwear ratings are there to let you know how durable the rubber is vs the road. Thats why our Subaru all seasons are 320 and the Kuhmo VR's on my 914 are 50 haha. I dont expect the Kumho's to last very long on the road, thats why they get put on at the track

My Whites are pretty much on exclusive garden duty at this point but they sure do the job well!

need these fucking things ASAP!

yes absolutely. Please post measurements when you can!

My Trickers don't have speed hooks and my Indy's do. Honestly, I prefer no speed hooks. The speed hooks on the indy's are awkward and too close together. They are much easier to use on my White's. The difference between putting on the boots without hooks is negligible.

I dont think the 710 would work for me. Upper thigh is too slim. Ive tried to find reliable measurements of the 711, anyone have any luck with that?
0 -
I'm generally a 33-34 in most jeans. These are a 34 to account for the thigh. Waist is a bit big.
Most of my jeans are 17" measured big style once stretched. These do stretch.
whats the upper thigh measure?

This is a fairly faithful representation of the current state. They are a bit more washed out and faded than the pic shows

i have a pair of trickers eaton in the 4444 last and they are close in width to the whites smoke jumper last. I have size 10 in whites, and 9.5 UK in the trickers and i can reasonably say the trickers are not quite as snug fitting as the whites
