  1. Whites do run larger than some. With Whites, the difference between a C and D is not much. I have been going back and forth with Bakers regarding this very thing. I fit and measured a D with my smoke jumpers on semi dress last, but the Bakers oxfords are way too loose in the heel area. I remeasured and am a C in the heel area. Honestly, I suggest you remeasure, and wear the socks you would when wearing teh boots. The saying "Measure twice, cut once" applies here. Maybe do it at different times of the day, after different activities. The leather will most likely stretch out, but you want a good, proper fit right out of the box to begin with

  2. true, but you never know. I cant roll up the sleeves on my IH chambray's past mid forearm. I dont have Popeye forearms either. Its a catch 22, because in order to have a nice and roomy forearm to allow for rolling up, you need less silhouetted cut on the forearm.

  3. awesome Roy shirt. I will have to sit this one out though. Im not crazy about double tab neck closures, and at that price, well its gotta be 100% to my liking. who am I fooling, with only 45 available, and being tied up all day Saturday, I most likely wont even have a chance at one anyways.

  4. Nice shoes, nice floor. Interestingly enough, I just swapped Oakstreet bootmakers with a guy because we both fucked our sizing up (easy to do as OSB's sizing info is all over the place, and they are basically no help at all). Anyways, I have a pair of natural CXL trail oxfords now.

  5. jesus christ, give him a break.

bestie- i went through the Whites options just like every other person here did who ordered them. It can be overwhelming, but its pretty basic once you start to wrap your head around what each option is. PM me with specific questions if you want, I dont care if its stupid, redundant or pathetic. You gotta start somewhere. apparently these guys forgot that.

go to www.buildaboot.com and just screw around with options. its not the most realistic in terms of how the boot looks, but it gives you a place to start.

  6. get yourself some Obenauf's or other heavy duty wax. Apply liberally. Let it soak in and apply a second coat. That should help, but I dont know if it will cure the issue. Maybe dont wait so long between treatments next time?? Not trying to put you down, as its hard to tell sometimes and easy to overlook this kind of thing.
