  1. Going on holiday soon and i am wondering if it is worth soaking my Samurai 5000bk in the sea while i am there. I've worn them pretty solid for over a year now. Only had one hot soak when they were fresh. What are the benefits to the sea soak if any?

    cheers

your denim will smell like shit until you do a proper wash. If you have a foul odor fetish, I say go for it. otherwise, do a proper soak/wash in a sink or tub like a civilized human being. :)

  2. oro-iginal is their "house" leather that they designed years ago. Its a fine, durable leather that ages well, and is pretty much what you would expect from a Red Wing work boot. Its not fancy or luxurious at all. Im pretty sure it only comes in that lighter brown pictured above, but I am not 100% certain. Like most lighter brown leathers, it will darken with age, sun exposure, getting wet and getting oiled/treated. By how much, I am not certain, I think it depends. here is a google image search of the color: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=safari&gl=us&biw=1280&bih=841&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=red+wing+oro-iginal&oq=red+wing+oro-iginal&gs_l=img.3...11256.16150.0.16765.13.13.0.0.0.0.102.603.12j1.13.0...0.0...1c.dX9mSAdgpcs

  3. i dont like the leather patch on the left pocket of the stamping on the right pocket.

Edit***Let me clarify: Its distracting to me, therefore would influence me when it came time to purchase. I dont like logo's or any other markings outside of a basic pocket arc.

  4. ok, did one more hot soak and a light tumble dry and that seemed to take up the residual fabric I was moaning about. I also realize I am over thinking this on a grand scale. what I have, is a dope pair of jeans that fit the way they are supposed to. They are made well, have a unique denim and look good. I will proceed to wash the sand out of my vagina, and wear the shit out of them as intended. I will also document the process (not the washing of the cunt part).

  5. im not even a part of this contest and Im excited. glad you guys could get something like this together. it doesn't seem all over the place like some contests, and everyone seems really enthusiastic about it.

  6. RS04 33". Construction and details mirror what others have been saying for years, so I wont repeat other than to say they are outstanding. I was on the fence size-wise, and stil kinda am. I usually wear a 33" guy at SE recommended a 33". Fit is pretty good, but there is a bit more fabric in the ass area than I am used to and its throwing me off. Im also a bit concerned about how much they stretch over time. I dont want to end up with a saggy seat, but at the same time, Im not looking for skin tight jeans. If I went with a 32", I might have a fit that is more streamlined, but might be a bit on the tighter side.... anyways, pics. Disregard the random out of focus spots, our mirror has paint on it.

  7. walked into SESF today and walked out with some Roy's. Thanks SESF. I also had a nice chat with a younger guy who is a yo-yo competition judge. He was looking at one of the yo-yo's you produce, and gave a little show. Fucking hell, I used to screw around with yo-yo's as a kid, but I have never seen anything like that. It was like yo-yo ballet. Amazing.

  8. Lots of these threads have evolved over the 4 years of their existence, and lots of us newer members just roll with what the theme of the most recent pages. Pretty sure most of the targeted members were not intentionally spamming the thread, they were probably excited to share their creations, regardless of it technically being the wrong thread.

That said, Im rocking Hollows Leather and Faler Brand on a daily basis, and Im fucking pumped on a daily basis because of it. Pretty soon, when my bank account settles down a bit, Ill be resting my drinks on Moonshine coasters. Thanks guys
