Well I’d ordered it - who knows what the postage will be like
They have updated the preorder - seems like most EMS destination charges are included - UK is, preordered mine, too.

@mondo - agree, a friend of mine sources old, vintage Russian tubes and does all the milling himself as a hobby.

After a regular washing with moderate spin, air drying on a stretcher and a couple of days wear my W32 have stretched to:
waist 88cm - a bit over 34.5”
front rise 34cm - almost 13.4”
back rise 46-46.5cm - a bit over 18”
thigh 32cm - almost 12.6”
hem 22cm - a bit over 8.6”
thighs are measured directly under the crotch across the entire leg, not to the side seam. In pattern construction for pants the crotch usually gets lowered for comfort and the side seams are moved to the front by 1-2cm to make pants look slimmer.
yes, I should have gone with a W33 for a more comfortable, but still trim fit - so far W32 looks like it could work out just as fine with a little more effort. my regular TCB size has been W32 so far, but the actual waist measures 34-35”.

^ @Foxy2 I ordered a size 33 and it is currently measuring 17.25 inches across - based on that I could have gone with a size 32 - the inseam is 31 1/4
(I really enjoy them because they're the kind of jeans that don't take themselves too seriously - they're fun to wear - happy light comfy easy breezy)
They've been through the washer and drier I think - tbh they're being put to work
Many thanks!

Ok here are some pics. These jeans were not readily available Pantshop.jp helped me get them. I purchased them wayyyyyy back in january of 2020....thinking of the hot summers here in Texas...I'm not a shorts type of guy. Anyhoo they are an 8 ounze denim with the buckle in back.... . Took me a minute to figure out how best to wear these. I think the rolled up works - this is not a fancy denim. Girlfriend hates buckle backs (oops) I mean h a t e s. We are still together, however. Peace out ya'll and thanks Jdelage i think it was you who advised me how to purchase these in the first place. (don't know how to copy and paste user names that's how dim I am). Wearing these with pink vans from last years MrPorter blow out sale and a Billy Reid linen shirt from a while back.
What size did you get and how did the shrink & stretch so far?
looking for something lighter than those D1596 from a couple of years back...

@mpukas - yes, those look interesting with those 2 different tones of indigo and they look reasonably straight cut. Nice price point, too.
the 2 tones remind me of Eternal 877, while the fuzzy yarns are similar to some Sugar Cane’s...
DC4 in BC Berlin seems to have them - maybe I’ll take a look in person.

Great reading - love the Modernist Society from Manchester & their magazine.
they did a nice fold-out poster of the “Toaster Rack” where I used to study briefly.
