What about 101B's, to cuff or not to cuff? I've been thinking about this since getting a pair recently. I like cuffs on all my other jeans but as stated above there is something about Lee's and being uncuffed and over cowboy boots.

Going to completely state the fucking obvious here but whatever the answer is, it would never involve posting about it on the internet. Also I am willing to bet large sums of money that whoever put that blog up that Stuntastic posted looks way more like the guy on the right than vintage Sean Connery.

^ I will take some detail shots soon with a proper camera. I love them and will be putting a ton of wear in to them. They are easily the nicest shoes I own. The lining leather is butter soft and the workmanship is top notch.

The only thing I've noticed is 'feel' also, the texture is a little different and they seem to be heavier. Anyone with a definitive way of telling them apart would be most welcome to share.

I posted in the Duck thread that I had talked to the guy called Ben who works at the tailoring counter here at the flagship Levis' store in SF. He said that they will most likely have the seasonal stuff, they are expanding the LVC floor there to make room for it. Sometime in March he thought.

My '2010's were just barely TTS but definitely on the slim side. I haven't soaked them because of this, the waist would probably be fine but the thighs would be too tight for sure. Like Paul T said get actual measurements if possible.

Changing the direction of thread. I hate the whole men carrying tote bags thing. Whether made of denim, canvas or leather. They are just big sloppy handbags, especially when draped over your shoulder and not full of groceries. Oh and the 'lazy beanie' trend can fuck off and die already too.

Maybe we just need a 'Recent Purchases' thread here on the denim board? I think it could catch a lot of the things that people seem to buy with some frequency. Then the other threads could just be for the more unusual items and for 'evo' pics.

I actually don't really care either way but just throwing it out there.

Quick question on the relative quality of Trickers vs Crockett & Jones? Any real difference in the craftsmanship or materials?

^ No idea on that really but my guess would be that they'll be in small quantities and only in popular sizes. So, yes. I expect it will just be for walk in customers. I am going to stop by there and check what's going on from time to time and will let folks know.

I was talking with Ben at the Levis' flagship store here in SF yesterday and he thinks that the tailoring shop there is going to start small production runs of Duck jeans and hopes to be getting the Cone Indigo Duck to work with as well. I put in a plug for a Type 1 in duck also.

They are also building out more space for the LVC floor and should be carrying the seasonal stuff by about the end of March.

I also put in another push for a website solely for LVC, he said it had been talked over a few months ago but he hasn't heard anything since.
