  1. I've checked out a few things at UnionMade here in SF and I have to say while nice they are not nice enough to justify the hefty price tag. The pre-worn look is also kinda 'meh' on most of the items, if you ask me.

  2. long day of booze.

Nice Scotch, Single Malts are my favourite tiple. I was gifted a bottle of the 25yr old, Anniversary Edition Macallan a couple years ago that I have rationed out for special occasions. Also have some 30yr old Ilse of Jura which is nice but a bit more 'peaty' than the Macallan.

  3. I have sent pm's and emails to the paypal address and not received a word in reply. Then his pm function stopped working. I am obviously hoping that the jeans still turn up. Like I said above, life gets in the way of stuff sometimes and delays can happen but it's still pretty easy to just send an email/pm to let folks know what's going on. Even just a quick post in this thread to give a heads up.

  4. Just thought I'd add to the LVC sizing answers. I recently bought some 47's (not 66's I know) and they are smaller than tagged size, the 34" I got was actually 33" and the rep at Unionmade said that they had found that all the recent ones they had were like this. Hope this helps.

  5. I have my Lobo by Pendleton shirt/jacket on today because the fog is back (thank goodness) but no camera to take a picture with. Dark indigo in color with brown buttons, thrifted for a good price.

On the subject of the new ones I agree that the fabric is the main ingredient but it would be nice if they were still U.S. made. I scored a major deal at their store in Sacramento a few months back, I got one of the $150 shirt/jackets for $28 in the end of season sale. It was the only one that fit me or I would have bought a few more.

  6. ^I've found with cheap jeans that it happens from being creased up in the washing machine and then the dryer just exaggerates it. The darker the denim the worse it gets. I think I heard that's what the whole washing inside out thing was supposed to fix but could be mistaken. Hand washing and line drying seems to be the way to avoid it.

  7. While I see the need for some publicity in this modern age we live in, the contrarian and collector in me kinda likes the fact that this stuff is harder to find. I know it will never really have a mass appeal but the exclusivity angle appeals to me. I think SUFU will end up discovering it and that would almost be enough, not enough to keep the brand going as far as Levis is concerned though I guess.
