Well it looks like a package is finally on it's way to me via UPS. Now waiting to see if the item is as described. This was way too much bullsh*t to have to go through. Word to all SUFU users, never send gift payments and never let relatives use your email/user account to sell stuff online.

I haven't noticed it on the 47's I got recently but I'll take a look later and see.

Even though I don't own a pair of Roys, I would be down to throw my signature on that card. It would be for future 'suck up' value to get in line for the next production run.

I've checked out a few things at UnionMade here in SF and I have to say while nice they are not nice enough to justify the hefty price tag. The pre-worn look is also kinda 'meh' on most of the items, if you ask me.

macallan 12 yr.

Nice Scotch, Single Malts are my favourite tiple. I was gifted a bottle of the 25yr old, Anniversary Edition Macallan a couple years ago that I have rationed out for special occasions. Also have some 30yr old Ilse of Jura which is nice but a bit more 'peaty' than the Macallan.

Any news, anyone? If as suspect the answer is no, then I am ready to take action. Emails have been drafted to his college and I feel the FBI and his campus police need to be contacted. I think he's a dumb college kid who thought he could make some quick party cash by scamming some SUFU users and he needs to be taught a lesson.

Nope, I tried but no luck. I was going to ask where you found it in my first reply but I guess every ones entitled to their secret sources.

^Pm me if you do decide to part with this. Very nice.

I have a feeling you are right. Just sent him a last chance warning. Not only the FBI but I will notify his college that he has committed fraud using their resources. Alfred University in NY State.

Nope, nothing. He's been logged on in the last day but still no messages, to me at least.

For what it's worth, his pm's are working again. Maybe that means he's shipped our stuff out, haha. One can hope I guess.

I have sent pm's and emails to the paypal address and not received a word in reply. Then his pm function stopped working. I am obviously hoping that the jeans still turn up. Like I said above, life gets in the way of stuff sometimes and delays can happen but it's still pretty easy to just send an email/pm to let folks know what's going on. Even just a quick post in this thread to give a heads up.

^Yeah I paid for the Sugar Canes 12 days ago also and not a word since. One of the other guys on the denim board got some MF Dungarees from the last for sale post and he did get them, although he said it took awhile to get them. Maybe there is still hope??

hey man, are you going to ship soon?
Wondering the very same thing?? Starting to feel like this might be a scam. At least let folks know what's going on. Shit happens but a little communication goes a long way.

Just thought I'd add to the LVC sizing answers. I recently bought some 47's (not 66's I know) and they are smaller than tagged size, the 34" I got was actually 33" and the rep at Unionmade said that they had found that all the recent ones they had were like this. Hope this helps.

I have my Lobo by Pendleton shirt/jacket on today because the fog is back (thank goodness) but no camera to take a picture with. Dark indigo in color with brown buttons, thrifted for a good price.
On the subject of the new ones I agree that the fabric is the main ingredient but it would be nice if they were still U.S. made. I scored a major deal at their store in Sacramento a few months back, I got one of the $150 shirt/jackets for $28 in the end of season sale. It was the only one that fit me or I would have bought a few more.

^I've found with cheap jeans that it happens from being creased up in the washing machine and then the dryer just exaggerates it. The darker the denim the worse it gets. I think I heard that's what the whole washing inside out thing was supposed to fix but could be mistaken. Hand washing and line drying seems to be the way to avoid it.

Farmer, oxford info?
Looks to be a Gitman Vintage to me. If not I have one from them that is pretty much exactly the same, which I like a lot.

Pm'ed about the 66's.

While I see the need for some publicity in this modern age we live in, the contrarian and collector in me kinda likes the fact that this stuff is harder to find. I know it will never really have a mass appeal but the exclusivity angle appeals to me. I think SUFU will end up discovering it and that would almost be enough, not enough to keep the brand going as far as Levis is concerned though I guess.

^I thought the same thing. That coat is sick but alas my budget will not stretch that far until next year.

This would not have ordinarily been my first choice of initial post but being a long time lurker and an SESF customer I felt I should send Kiya my best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
