So as much as I hate to say this but my pair is off to a new owner. I loved the concept behind this contest but don't have time to properly give these jeans. I thought pomata might have sold his to her but I guess he found someone else to give them to. She, I hope, will be a much better participant that I have and hope see her in them soon.

Both new Uniqlo stores (Fifth Avenue, opening October 14, and 34th Street, opening October 21) will carry full +J collections when they launch.

Someone who works in NY in their offices told me that the new flagship store is huge compared to the SoHo store and that not to rush to get the +J stuff because there will be plenty, especially once the new stores open.

Picked these a few weeks ago. RRL made in the usa number 76/98 hickory stripe with duck backing. I love everything about these, the solid heavy hardware with the braid strap in the back.

Has anyone ordered a pair of Open Roads by White's? Are those the new engineer boots they just released? Seem pretty interesting but would like to see some more photos.

I have been meaning to take pictures of my Thorogood Horsehide boots but haven't had good weather on my days off. I picked them up from Epaulet in January and the Crockett and Jones is a recent pick up from last week. I didn't realize the sidewalk would be so bright but that's what the yellow reflection is.

I've heard from some folks in NYC, and it wasn't as bad as expected. Still, any word from This Sunday? Do we know how he's doing post storm?

I live in Brooklyn while he lives in Queens but it was not bad for me at all, no loss of power and just rain and wind. Glad to see everyone's progress, still wearing mine when I can. The temperature is slowly dropping but the high humidity still makes it awful to wear denim, especially waiting for the subway.

I say keep it pomata. Your LVC is a bit bigger on you and why not have the original too? It's always nice to have different fit options too.
