i recently started working on repair jeans using a Singer 47w70 darning machine. I am trying to hone my skills in so if anyone has any pairs that need repairs please PM me and we can work something out. I am offering my services for FREE while I'm trying to improve myself. I use indigo rope dyed threads also with different natural, cream, white threads for the weft fill. I can add rivets and buttons if needed. The only thing I am asking is for jeans to freshly laundered and obviously you will have to pay for shipping both ways. I also can hem jeans too using a Union Special 43200g if interested too.

Sorry for the shitty picture but I was shopping at Century 21 this past week and picked up this Theory 38 shirt. fabric 100% polyester made in the usa of imported fabric. The body and shoulders are made of regular sports tee material but the arm panels are a honeycomb pattern material thats a little lighter. I think it originally retailed for $130ish I forget what the tag said but it was only $60

Can anyone tell me if the sleeves of Lee Stormrider blanket lined jackets are lined too? What was the Levi's style jacket that had a lining? Were those sleeves lined on that one as well? I can't really tell by pictures online so I thought I might as on here if anyone has a Stormrider to check for me.

After wearing my indigo duck Chelseas for a few weeks now, I'd say they are cut closer to a Greaser than a Chelsea. I am not sure if its true for all sizes across the board but my size 36 measurements look more like Greaser measurements than a Chelsea. I cold soaked them once when I first bought them so I wouldn't suspect much shrink to significantly change the fit.

I recently picked up a pair of the indigo duck jeans and had them hemmed in store. Stitching looks a little bright and odd at first but after a few days wear it is starting to grow on me.

 

The chain embroidery work looks amazing on the work shirts as well as the tee shirts. Saving up now to pick up some tube tees and maybe get a design on the back with the LF on the front.

 

I highly recommend anyone visiting NYC to make the trip out to Ridgewood to see the Left Field shop.

hey guys, i recently started messsing around with my gfs sewing machine. ive made a few bags and a pair of trousers but im itching to make a pair of jeans. the pants i made were based off a pair of jeans i like but the pattern just didn't just didn't work.

 

i was hoping someone on here could suggest a pattern for modern pair of slim straight jeans. i live in nyc so i am going to go to the garment district tomorrow to find some but hope to get reviews on whats good or not. plan on using this dark blue denim with a yellow selvedge line I found in my neighborhood but the edges are still frayed. seems to be like that on most denim i find in these small fabric stores.

Speaking of San Antonio, I recently acquired a pair of 1944 501s stamped 554 but unfortunately are too small. Is the resale value for them still higher than average being 554? I remember them being that way a few years ago on eBay...

I got this BLK DNM jeans last year and wore them for about 8 months before I outgrew them. Zipper fly with a higher rise made out of 100% cotton were the details that interested me about these jeans. Faded pretty quickly in the wash but in a good way not an overall color loss. Sorry about the dog hair.

My co worker told me about a Comme Des Garcon sale in NYC 5/10 - 5/13 10 - 7 pm and Sunday 12 - 8. 127 W 30th St between 6th and 7th ave.

Does anyone have any good advice on preventing crotch damage? For as long as I have worn jeans eventually after the 1+ year mark the crotch rips. I have darned my jeans by hand and taken several pairs to SENY to get them properly fixed up but I am interested in some pattern or stitch I can use in order reinforce my Dior 19cm without altering the appearance too much. I have been soaking them once a month since I got them 3 months ago.
