  1. Someone sold this in my store today. Said it was his grandpas and only had the knits replaced. The zipper on the one side is messed up but still has the original Talon. Was wondering of anyone could give me some more info. World war 2 era I think.

  2. Yeah Heech those are looking good, I like the traintracks coming in.

Paul T super cool to see all over London.

I wore my Roys for officially one week today so I decided to give em a wash with a little bit of soap in a tub. I always tell myself to hold off more in between washings but I usually end up doing it once a month. With these I might wash em more often as it seems no one really has washed theirs more than 3 times.

  3. I went to Stock Vintage a few weeks ago and she had a few pairs of Levi's from the 50's that she let me look at. The selvege color was not red but that lighter pinkish color. I thought this was strange myself but these were smaller in size and only had a 3 button fly so I thought maybe they were kids jeans.

Bought these off another member back in April. Got them chainstitched at SENY. Worn less than 20 times by me. Accidentally cracked the patch during a hot soak. Color is the best in the detail pictures.

Bought these for my brother but he didn't end up liking them. They were one wash and he washed them himself once. Pocket threads starting to come off on right side. Color is the most true in the last picture.

  6. I think that advice was for those new Pantaloons and other models made from the Japanese denim because they don't shrink much. So to get set whiskers and combs it is best to wear them raw for awhile because after soaking the only difference is the starch is gone.

  7. So I want to introduce myself to you guys, I'm John, aho's replacement. I saw he was parting ways with them and jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this. I just got them in the mail when I got home from work today along with another package. Here are some quick fit pics:

I have been wanting a new board to just ride around my neighborhood on and one with an old school shape. Saw this one on eBay for $55 which is the same price as a new one. It's a Powell Peralta board from 1991, when I was 3 :).

Lastly some buttons I've been holding onto for suspenders one day. Going to put them on these for sure.

The details on these are amazing as you all know but it is great to see it in person and to know that I get to keep em forever and ever. I am glad to be a part of this and look forward to the rest of the contest.

  8. looking great ah_long! I had to take mine to SENY again to get them darned up professionally. It was easy for me to patch up small holes to prevent tearing but after I skated one day in them, everything was torn open. We are definitely going to have some heavily worn jeans by the end of the contest.

  9. Does anyone remember that other forum that Gun posted on? I am curious to see some of these other denims as well as the fuller cuts. Has anyone seen a pair with a cinch back?
