Great updates everyone as usual.
No real photos for updating for me. Just have been working and shopping on my days off. I'm hand-washing mine for the 3rd time tonight after 3 weeks or so of wear. Should have some photos tomorrow after I pick up a pair of Aldens to add to my boot collection

I decided to try straight european lacing today after seeing that site. I always wondered how to do it the proper way. Anyone have any links for different ways to knot your laces? I only know the way from when I was a kid.

Great stuff roy6! I have those same Filson suspenders. They were tough to put on at first the leather was so stiff. I would have to make sure I put them on the night before if I wanted to wear them so I wouldn't be late for work in the morning.

salaami, what I do is download PicSay to adjust the size of the photos to make them sufu friendly and then use photobucket to upload the photos to and then you can just post the IMGs.

The waist is never a problem for PBJs, the thigh is where it gets too tight. So if you have small enough thighs you could size down one but if they are larger you might even want to size up one. The waist stretches out easily so you just have to wear a belt if you go TTS and it is still a bit loose.

Samurai comes out with a new Jin model every year I thought, why not wait and get next year's model while you enjoy the Iron Heart denim shirt with your Jin jacket? It would be interesting to see different LHT denims with each other than just the same denim for jacket and jeans.

Happy 4th to all you fellow patriots and a happy Monday to the rest of the contestants!
Great stuff everyone. Thanks for the rep and comments. I picked the buttons up this past April when we had a dollar sale and I bought a RRL skirt that had the buttons as well as cinch back. I am kicking myself for not taking the cinch too but I just snipped off the buttons and tossed the skirt. They were originally black but after a night of soaking in stripper, they easily turned back to the original metal.

I've been lurking for so long I forget comment on everyone's amazing posts. I usually try to rep when I can but I gotta spread all the time blah blah blah.
I went to my sister's house so I had to take the train from Grand Central.
Never really looked up before after passing through here hundreds of times.
The train I took.
Passing by a random bridge. There are over 2,000 bridges and tunnels in the NYC area.
Train tracks and the Hudson.
That night I finished sewing on buttons on my ROYs.
And finally a fit.

cross post from how do jeans fit:
my dad is 45 (years old, for styling reference), 205-210lb, 6'2, 36 waist, 32 length. He's not into to anything slim fitting but wants a pair of starter raw denims. Help!
Measure a pair he likes to wear now and start looking at different jeans. There are plenty of brands to look at with different fits and denim characteristics to find ones he might be interested in.

Knee bags form majority of the time from wearing them while wet. When washing let them dry completely before wearing to avoid them.

I have a pair of the Thorogoods and I love them. Can only really compare them to my Redwing Beckmans but from the way insoles feel to the way leather wears, it is definitely the most bang for the buck.
