Bump for Donkey Jacket! A bargain, seriously.

dr. house- does that t have side-seams or no? Can't see in the picture.

^Made in the USA! I like it. Looks more substantial than their ts have of late.

^I'm not entirely sure about the duck, actually, I'm assuming that it is sanforized but I was going to try to verify that before washing it. Isn't all of the Rising Stuff, denim included, sanforized? I should write them and ask.
rnrswitch- have you washed your ranch jacket?

^That looks fantastic. The fabric is sanforized, no? So you you should be fine on the sleeve length, looks like there is a little bit to spare, even.
Is that one of your hats? How are they coming along?
setterman will be jealous of that first picture.

Bump for new price reductions.

WTF! I was just lusting after this shirt elsewhere. Stop making me quote you.

"Oh! I didn't see you there. Just about to go down the stairs. Don't mind me."
Consider this a non-technical +rep.

So I'm showing my wife that awesome duck jacket and she says I should get it... who am I to argue with my wife...?
How often does that happen? I guess you have to get it now,..

I was lucky, it was the last one in any size (that I saw) at AB Fits.

Well, here's my weekly round-up…. In smaller photos - just for you, Roy6!
Thank you for humoring me in my myopic dotage. Now that I can actually see your pics in their entirety, I guess they aren't nearly so blurry and poorly composed as I had thought.
Especially nice one of the dog frolicking in the surf.

Found this pull over today if anyone was interested I'd be able to proxy it for $60 shipped. Not sure when its from but it is a size medium. Also will be selling a pair of 47s size 34 x 34 once soaked with very little wear for $150 shipped. PM me if interested.
A denim popover, early 1900s, from 1999 or early 2000.
Levi flagship in SFOh. I see how it is. Can't say hello or anything.

i hereby nominate this as the ugliest piece LVC has ever put out...

I'm psychic- they are releasing a Panatela collection. A $1200 repro '70s polyester leisure suit can't be far behind.

^He is nice. I got the feeling that, though I'm sure he was glad to make a sale, he would have happily shown me around the shop and talked about the various lines and garments even if I hadn't intended to spend a dime.
He really does have good taste- not a lot of things from any one single line, but the items he did have all were ones I thought were the best from each collection.
I thought I had seen that shirt before- The guy on the right and Hodis both wearing it here:

I went to A-B Fits in Sf today on my lunch break, wanted to look at their Rising Sun stuff, didn't expect to by anything, but:
I was so impressed by how good the Rising Sun stuff looks in the flesh, way better than photographically inept and awkward-posing rnrswitch, riff & especially horribly unphotogenic eltopo make them look. The jacket fit so well, or so I thought, I couldn't resist it. They also had a couple of vests, both really nice but the indigo one the stand-out to me. Also some garment-dyed RS Ts- had no idea they made them.
A-B Fits was cool too- for some reason I'd never been in before. The owner was great, informative but nicely low key. From the selection of stuff he's culled from RS, LVC, West is Dead, Sunny Sport, etc., seems like he has some seriously good taste.

here's the jacket we've been discussing

Ouch. Not every Levi's garment is worthy of repro. What's next- a whole season of Panatela items? The polyester is already making me itch.
It is a Levi's LVC shirt from this past season. It's called the Workman's Shirt. The only store that has it to my knowledge in the US is the Levi's Union Square store in San Fran. Last time I checked in the system at work they had 1 Medium, 3 Larges and 1 Extra Large left. It's $209. (thanks to Roy6 for the heads up on the shirt)Also at ABfits:

Looking good, CTB!
I was considering getting a waxed jacket for work this winter- maybe you can advise me: exactly how water resistant is a waxed cotton jacket? For instance, if you're out in a light rain all day long, will the jacket eventually absorb water? And if so, does it take longer than an unwaxed cotton jacket would to dry out?

^I hadn't thought of that, would have been awesome to have found a matching jacket with them!

Fit pics please, CTB.
