I've heard that if you put them on and then soak them in warm water and then wear them until they dry they will mould to your feat faster.

How do they fit compared to DesertBoots or Chucks?

They are very stiff to begin with. It's kind of hard to compare the two. I believe I sized down I full size but I cannot remember for sure what my Clarks were and the size has rubbed off. They really are a boot where you should go and try them on and try many different styles I think.

Bought these Red Wings a couple days ago and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on breaking them in. I wore them to work the other day and out on the town on New Year and they cut my feet to shit.

My grandfathers Royal Navy knife circa 1939. Decent size blade, flathead screwdriver at one end and a marlin spike (designed to undo tight knots).

It's heavy and solid and goes with me everywhere.

The grim tims have a great fit just dont size down too much and get a dry pair if you can find them.

I have to agree about the shoes. Shiny square toed shoes are reserved for ginos. Can't tell two much about the jeans though. It's too dark to see any real definition. Get some more light on those.

Keep wearing them. I have the same jeans and they will loosen up a bit as the elastic in them gets use.

They still have some Iron Heart 634s at Over the Rainbow for half price. I only saw 2 pairs of 34s. Probably would have bought a pair if they had my size.

And what exactly would you suggest then... I am not a fan of the white soles.

No but I am sure you can buy them over the phone if you call and they have your size. I might swing by later tomorrow and give em a try. Even thought they are old now they are still current models... #634 model I think. The ones I saw the other week had some fading from just being folded the same way for too long and getting rubbed along the creases.

They have had those Iron hearts for years... Probably just trying to get rid of them once and for all. $180 is probably below cost.
