Nomad had a bunch of stuff on sale today. Mostly 20-25% off. Probably to combat the lack of business from everyone shopping at the J and O sale. Picked us a nice Wings and Horns vest.

I just called Nomad in Toronto and they have their outerwear for 25% off. It is mine if it fits properly.
Very nice piece and don't expect to find this marked down much since it's a fairly conventional, well made vest. So I say if you really love it and can afford it, kop.0 -
Yes or No? A little pricey at over $300 bucks but very nice. The vest that is.

I am okay with a little baggy because I am a big guy. Unfortunately Uniqlo doesn't ship to Canada or so I have heard. I was leaning towards APC and definitely hitting up Jonathan and Olivia in a about and hour. If not over to Holts to see what they have in APC.

Looking for a nice and simple oxford shirt? Any ideas? I tried the Naked and Famous ones but they didn't fit right and I am in Canada and don't want to spend an arm and a leg shipping a JCrew over here without trying it on.

Are these ok for the winter? I was thinking about picking up some leather ones but I heard they're really slippery on slush and stuff
That depends on you, there is zero insulation and they are not waterproof. Also, if you hate salt stains then don't bother because you will get them something nasty because the salty water will sink into the suede. I wear mine year round but there are not for everyone.

Been enjoying the Asahi Super Dry. Oddly enough it doesn't give me a hangover. I must have had 8 tall cans at the Vice Magazine birthday party but nothing.

How come cheap beer always has such better labeling than boutique beers? I like delerium tremens plenty but that bottle just looks so stupid.
Cheap beer doesn't try to be anything its not. This is an old lable from the 1970's though. The new one isn't as nice.

Oh rough man. I wouldn't go that far for his books. They tend to be easily accessible and make for good subway read. The books pretty decent so far. It's not going to win any awards but I bet someone has already hundreds of thousands for the movie rights. I tend to flip back and forth with my ready between mindless simple books like this or the latest Dan Brown crap and more serious and thoughtful books.

Go to Bootmaster on Yonge near Wellsley. It is a cowboy boot type place and they have tonnes of leather belts to choose from. Inexpensive and will probably last you the rest of your life

I was out and about today in Toronto looking for a new wallet and came across this Billykirk one at Sydney's. Grabbed it instantly despite the price. Let's see your wallets too guys.

What's the name of the owner of Fred Perry?
Boss:) I don't want to come down on the party at all. It was the best of the year as far as I am concerned and it sucks you had to clean it up. I just think the boucer outside did nothing for whatever he was being paid for.
