  1. motoretta carries, cheap mondays, fred perry, dunderdon, ben sherman, penguin, sessun, penfield, wesc and brixton. i don't wear the stuff anymore but it does sell for us. looking to replace a couple of those brands for the next fall winter season (spring orders already went out ages ago). thinking maybe wings and horns and albam or something along those lines. any feedback and what peoplke want to see would be welcomed.

  2. i'm a manager at motoretta on college. we still sell some ben sherman but i think it has become a little too deushy (sp?). we still rock a lot of fred perry though (our parent company distributes them as well as many other brands. i just want to get some new brands into the store so if i can get rid of ben sherman i have room for something different. not sure what though yet.

look out for the new oliver spencer store opening in the next couple weeks. right between Ruins and the Fred Perry store.

on that note, i have like 30 fred perry polo's i want to get rid of if anyone is interested. most are sized large, some xl. $30 bucks a piece. i'll start a sales thread tonight.

  3. Agreed on both counts! :)

Seeing all the great contest Eternals has inspired me to wear my old pair more!

those boots look huge on you. thinking of getting those myself though. the crepe is wearing out on my roy boots and i want to send them in to be resoled. i'll need something to keep me tied over for the 3 months they take.

  4. Stolen Riches closed down I think.

yup they are closed. according to sydney of sydneys they are opening a ben sherman store there. maybe my store can finally get rid of the brand. i hate the stuff but the boss likes it.

  5. it is a bar now. the clothing in the window is just a front. there was an article on blogto about it. http://www.blogto.com/bars/goodnight-bar-toronto. kind an odd format. don't know too many people who will go to a bar where they have to make a reservation. i am sure it will get some hype for a while but i'd imagine people will just not be bothered and wander down to whatever else is open.

on the note of nomad, isn't this the dude that worked/works there?

  6. yeah they are pretty underpowered. really just a simple cool looking city bike. i've had one to 130kph and it didn't feel like it would be much fun trying to go faster. i was on one that wasn't broken in yet so that may have added to it.

your triumph is a much better bike thats for sure. mind you i would take the guzzi v7 over the triumph. i like that the v7 is shaft drive and i am not a big fan of the stock triumph tanks. to each his own i guess.

currently trying to see if the norton guy for canada will let me take one out for a weekend. i am trying to ply him into thinking i am interested in selling them at my store even though i would never try and sell a bike that expensive.

  7. Today is the day that you can legally start buying Royal Enfield bikes in California.

Lucky for me one of the two first California dealers is three blocks from SESF, Munroe Motors.

Had i not bought a brand new Triumph four months ago i might have picked up a new Enfield to mess around with, i can't believe how cheap they are even at California retail prices, they're stickered at about $5850.

haha my store in toronto was the first dealership in canada to get them. we got them a couple months ago. they have been a huge seller. there are still a couple kinks but they have been pretty reliable so far. haven't had a customer that wants us to trick one out for them yet though. not a highway bike though. they top out at like 120-130 pushing it. definitely a city bike.
