  1. I don’t know that everyone does want a different cut/fit. Most people that have replied say that they’re interested dependent on the fit, without stating what that fit is. Perhaps someone should create a survey to see what people actually do want?

  2. Where exactly do you take the hip measurement from? It’s not something I’ve ever been concerned about.

  3. I wear size 32 in most brands - Warehouse, LVC, Sugar Cane, SDA, Momotaro - but wear size 31 in Full Count as I’ve found they come up big in the waist. However, my experience is with the old FC with arcs and tabs, I’ve not owned or even tried on the new, revamped models, so this may no longer be relevant.

A baggy pair like 90s skaters wore would be tight

How can they be tight if they’re baggy? Extreme sizing down?

  5. Hi @CSL, my experience with a FH heavy flannel shirt is that it did shrink a bit over time after washing at 40°C, without using a tumble drier. I may have washed it at 60°C once.

  6. @CharlieMike I think in terms of discussion of the SC66, there is no objective truth of how true it is to the original. Ask a different person and you’ll get a different response based on their own subjective understanding of what constitutes a 66 cut (is there really such a thing anyway?) and how close the SC model is to realising that. They are no doubt what someone at Sugar Cane/Toyo believes to be representative of that era so must be based on something. If you accept the SC66 is in that ballpark and you like the cut, measurements, denim and details then it’s probably worth going for. If not, then keep looking…
