I don’t know that everyone does want a different cut/fit. Most people that have replied say that they’re interested dependent on the fit, without stating what that fit is. Perhaps someone should create a survey to see what people actually do want?

I like your front door @MJF9!

Denimio still have a few sizes left in the 220A.

Where exactly do you take the hip measurement from? It’s not something I’ve ever been concerned about.

I wear size 32 in most brands - Warehouse, LVC, Sugar Cane, SDA, Momotaro - but wear size 31 in Full Count as I’ve found they come up big in the waist. However, my experience is with the old FC with arcs and tabs, I’ve not owned or even tried on the new, revamped models, so this may no longer be relevant.

Do it and report back 😂

I’m interested if the fit is wrong and completely unsuitable for me.

They look fine to me, although I’ve never had a pair of Evis/u.

I’m not sure, it may run out of steam. I don’t think a jacket contest will have the legs of a jeans contest.

I think Freewheelers make a black pair too and I know Warehouse have made them in the past.

^ Are you thinking of buying it back @MJF9? 😆

6 minutes ago, rbeck said:A baggy pair like 90s skaters wore would be tight
How can they be tight if they’re baggy? Extreme sizing down?

My Momotaro 0901s had a 39” inseam when raw.
Also, if you speak to TCB, they might make a pair with a custom inseam.

Congratulations Tilmann! Let me guess the potential names:
- Lee for a boy?
- Eva Sue for a girl?
😆

Hi @CSL, my experience with a FH heavy flannel shirt is that it did shrink a bit over time after washing at 40°C, without using a tumble drier. I may have washed it at 60°C once.

They might be a bit tight on me so I’ll pass.

@CharlieMike I think in terms of discussion of the SC66, there is no objective truth of how true it is to the original. Ask a different person and you’ll get a different response based on their own subjective understanding of what constitutes a 66 cut (is there really such a thing anyway?) and how close the SC model is to realising that. They are no doubt what someone at Sugar Cane/Toyo believes to be representative of that era so must be based on something. If you accept the SC66 is in that ballpark and you like the cut, measurements, denim and details then it’s probably worth going for. If not, then keep looking…

Buyee don’t either. I think ZM used to but stopped. I don’t know about FJ so maybe someone else can chime in.

I haven’t used From Japan, but as the other 2 are pretty similar, I assume they’re all on a par

Buyee, ZenMarket, From Japan are 3 popular ones

You should have chosen an appropriately sized animal to skin

The neppy fabric looks great and they fit well too. 👍

What about the lovechild of Sean Penn and Gary Oldman in the 3rd photo? Is he an LVC model, a late 19th century futurist or a mid-20th century dude in an old jacket?

Good point JW, I haven’t followed this too closely, so it’s a simple case of wait and see.
