Hi, I will be in tokyo next week. Any recommendations in the Shibuya area to cop some fashion gears?
every trip I make to tokyo, I am always drawn towards the shinjuku, harajuku and daikanyama districts.
I walked aimless in shibuya on occasions but maybe I walking into the wrong areas. Suggestion please?

Get the superfuture Tokyo app. Those areas are good, but make sure you have a place in mind of where you want to go. Julius, diet butcher, viridi Anne etc. make sure no matter what you do, you go to ragtag. You'll be happy you did.

What were ya doing in Japan for three months if you don't mind me asking? That's a helluva extended trip.

Seattle Wa. But the h. Lorenzo reference is because I was in LA for the last month visiting friends and family

Thank you. I have been overwhelmed with great experiences. I will come back in December. What a polite, stylish and well-mannered city. Very impressed!

I went to Julius flagship today. I kinda shit a brick once I realized how much international mark up is. The new season looks great in person.
Ragtag blew my mind. Got a couple really old CDG homme items for mad cheap.
Still on the hunt for decent drop crotch pants. Shibuya is amazing...got to explore for a bit more this time.
Diakayama was so rad, and there have been tons of sales everywhere. Got a nice leather jacket from Shellac today...a fraction of what H. Lorenzo would've charged too.

Damn my post before that didn't go through for some reason.
A fit similar to this.

The ones you posted might do the trick I need to try them on to figure it out. Thanks for the straight forward help

Looked up joggers. I don't want any sort of elastic/cuffing at the ankles

Thank you. Well, I really won't know till I see them, because I don't really know how to describe other than fitted but slightly dropped. They weren't overkill. One pair I saw a man wearing seemed to be a wool . Maybe they go by a different name in Japan. I walked ALL over Ginza and shibuya yesterday just going into any store I could and searching for that style. I just thought their would be some local brands in the mid range priced. I honestly don't know where to look, other than just wondering around. A google search doesn't usually help because all the drop crotch pictures are REALLY dropped.
So what I am looking for is, something that is slim sorta fitted in the legs, regular waist rise, but then the crotch seat area is dropped a little to give a sorta relaxed look. Haha, that's the best I can do. Trying to avoid sweatpant material.

I am visiting Tokyo for ten days! It's so cold here, damn!
What are some things/ sales I must do and find while I am here? I downloaded the superfuture app already and will be following that sorta closely as an added itinerary.
Also, I'm looking for a pair of drop crotch pants. Just slightly dropped. Is there a good place to find affordable ones? I've seen a couple very stylish locals wear some that I really liked. They were sorta wool ish, not sweatpant material. I wanted to ask the brand and where they got them, but my Japanese is pretty poor.
This city is very exciting!

What is the weight of the denim now? Also is it the same denim that was used years ago when they were calling the Greasers slim straight?

got a sample of diptyque l'eau duelle
verr verr good. love vanilla.
got a sample of philosykos but was a little underwhelmed especially with the hype. same with Tam Dao. Not for me.
I really want to try Do son, and their other more unconventional scents. something a little more clean, milder and easy.

I saw some of the pieces today. Jackstraw in seattle is carrying a few items. Although i fucking LOVEEE what i've seen, i really have a hard time saying these are worth 1,200 dollars. I mean, it's great and if i had endless cash i'd buy them, but man, that is too much.
The pants are great too. Just overall love the knits, and look and feel. didn't try them on though

from seattle right here!

this is true, but if ever wanted to get straight stitching you could purchase, for a rather low price, different feet attachments like This: http://www.amazon.com/Distinctive-Joining-Stitch-Machine-Presser/dp/B003Q6O9BQ

thank you!
I actually can sew alright so far... i've made a shirt from a pattern, and have made a twill jacket with a wool lining also from a pattern. Right now i'm reading about pattern making and tailoring. the jeans would be a project in the next few months once i got more confidence. But my first "jeans" project will probably be chinos from a jean pattern and then worked and altered until i got a good fit in mind

I'd like to add, my prior comment was completely constructive and honest. I'd also like to add, it is clear these guys are very on their way to making good shit. it's different that their flaws are able to be seen and viewed by a group of denim SNOBS as they start their brand. To the rest of the world, they are probably already doing something amazing.
But in time, I can see the haters eating their words. I look forward to see how these guys grow. Just get that stitching down. ha!

thanks you guys. I think i will just stick with my single needle then. I'm not wanting to spend tons of money really.
