  1. not really. But, sometimes you can find decent second hand stuff at Le Frock on capitol hill

There is this other clothing place right next to Blue Bird ice cream shop in cap hill that was carrying Creep for a bit. I forgot the name though

  2. I've been taking Krav Maga for a few months now. Before that i always had an interest in boxing- watching and wanting to participate. I'll probably do Krav Maga for another 6 months, then move on to either Muay Thai, or a traditional Boxing gym. i'd like to fight a few real matches one day

  3. Anyone here trained Muay Thai/Boran/Chaiya/etc, in Thailand before? If you have, how was your experience?

I might be studying abroad there. I come from a Muay Thai background with some Wing Chun and Escrima

Pretty late on the reply , but I took some Muay Thai classes in Bankok from a traditional dojo. It was awesome, but that's my only Muay Experience. it was worth it though, i payed like 10 bucks per class.

  4. Saturdays Surf NYC

really? i've seen some extraordinarily high quality garments from them at very reasonable prices. I like a lot of their basics

  5. I have an MBair. It is my favorite possession. I can't believe i used a PC for so many years. The transition has been great, and honestly, if you max out the specs for an additional 200 it's as powerful as a pro, and it's about as light as an ipad. I use mine for work, recording music and media related things.

  6. Just don't live in capitol hill. Too expensive and not that cool for living, but fun for drinking and seeing music.

Central district is closest and cheaper, but it's a little shady by seattles standards.

1st hill is basically cap hill almost. a little cheaper, but not by much.

My vote for any new young person to seattle is to move to the University District. Central location to almost anything in seattle. great bus hub, lots of transplants. Cheap housing. it's a good starting spot. Downside is lots of college kids and some douchey jock bars and frat/sorority oriented places.

Wallingford is nice, and fairly cheap and a great central location.

Northgate is real cheap, but it's a little removed. it will take you about 30 minutes to get from northgate to cap hill by bus, and maybe 15 driving. the main attraction is strip malls, but it's not that bad if price is your biggest focus

If you are flexible though, and willing to live with people and get a room in a house, you can basically live anywhere for 600 and less. I payed 430 a month with utilities living in a house in the u district

  7. i got a bit choked up when i heard blackbird was closing. Being a seattle local, that was my main access to clothing and fashion and i learned a majority of what i know now because of them. r.i.p :(

  8. wow this got pathetic.

Anyways, i wish i had the means to be able to ball this hard. So cudos to OP!

I figured it was a bragg off, dick waving constest once i saw the 30 bottles of veuve. That is at best average, and overpriced. if you were really all about good champagne you'd buy something cheaper for the same value. I'm a wine steward and dude, you could have saved yourself hundreds of dollars and got something else for the same quality

  9. Earth are definitely not metal. Dude who is claiming otherwise simply doesn't know what he's talking about.
